Hola amantes de la costura y las agujas, un placer estar nuevamente por acá espero estén súper bien, tenía días desaparecida de Hive pero eso no quiere decir que no he estado trabajando y pensando en crear contenido, la semana pasada fué la fiesta de despedida del preescolar de Sheyla y la temática era de hawaiana, como no tenia que ponerle a Sheyla decidí hacerle un vestido, en un principio pensé que fueran dos piezas una falda y un top pero luego pensé que un vestido es más útil y que puede usarlo para el día a día, el diseño fué improvisado 🤭 pero quedó muy lindo, acompáñame a ver el proceso...

Usé todo el ancho de la tela para cortar la pieza de la falda el largo dependiendo de como lo quieras, también corté una tira más angosta para el pecho, las dos piezas las cosí por los costados para cerrarla y luego cosí uno de los bordes, en el caso de la falda hice un dobladillo en la parte inferior y para la pieza del pecho hice lo mismo en la parte inferior.

I used the entire width of the fabric to cut the skirt piece the length depending on how you want it, I also cut a narrower strip for the chest, the two pieces I sewed them on the sides to close it and then I sewed one of the edges, in the case of the skirt I hemmed the bottom and for the chest piece I did the same at the bottom.

Para el corpiño usé elástica para hacer el efecto de fruncido, generalmente se usa hilo elástico pero no tenía y opté por la elástica, en un principio cosí cuatro tiras pero luego me dí cuenta que estaban muy ajustadas y descosí las dos del medio, por último con la misma tela hice los tirantes y los dejé sueltos para que fueran ajustables y poder hacerle un lazo, uní la falda con la pieza del corpiño para terminar. Así quedó este hermoso vestido que a pesar de ser un diseño improvisado pude terminarlo rápido y quedó hermoso, mi pequeña está muy contenta como siempre cada vez que le hago ropa nueva, espero les haya gustado este post no vemos pronto.

For the bodice I used elastic to make the ruffled effect, usually elastic thread is used but I did not have and I opted for the elastic, at first I sewed four strips but then I realized that they were too tight and unsewed the two in the middle, finally with the same fabric I made the straps and left them loose to be adjustable and to make a bow, I joined the skirt with the piece of the bodice to finish. So this was this beautiful dress that despite being an improvised design I could finish it quickly and it was beautiful, my little girl is very happy as always every time I make her new clothes, I hope you liked this post see you soon.
