Hola a todos espero que estén muy bien esta semana :3, estamos terminando el primer cuarto del año, en Argentina le dijimos adiós al verano y estoy muy feliz por ello, las temperaturas en este país estuvieron muy altas el último mes, era insostenible vivir jajaja pero ya estamos a full con el otoño :3, esta semana estuve saliendo más, creo que no tuve ni un día de quedarme en casa asi que trabaje en algunos bordados en mis tiempos libres.
Creo que a todos los artesanos o artistas por hobby nos pasa lo mismo, en algún punto empezaste tantas cosas nuevas que dejaste a la mitad que se vuelve insostenible producir más y este un gran momento para terminar todo lo que se pueda terminar ya que pronto empiezo mis clases y quiero terminar todos los proyectos que pueda antes de que empiecen.
Hello everyone, I hope you are very well this week :3, we are finishing the first quarter of the year, in Argentina we said goodbye to summer and I am very happy about it, the temperatures in this country were very high the last month, it was unsustainable to live hahaha but we are already in full swing with autumn :3, this week I was going out more, I think I didn't even have a day to stay home so I worked on some embroidery in my spare time.I think the same thing happens to all artisans or hobby artists, at some point you started so many new things that you left halfway through that it becomes unsustainable to produce more and this is a great time to finish everything that can be finished since I'll start soon my classes and I want to finish as many projects as I can before they start.
Termine mi cuadro bordado y es bastante diferente a lo que me imaginé 😅 pero fue una buena práctica, al final utilice muchos colores y fui viendo cómo iban quedando y ya jajaja pero no será un cuadro colgante sino que va a ser un gran posa vasos jajaja, no estoy tan segura de lo que fue al final, solo es una pieza de bordado jaja.
I finished my embroidered painting and it is quite different from what I imagined 😅 but it was a good practice, in the end I used many colors and I saw how they turned out and that's it hahaha but it won't be a hanging painting but it will be a great coaster hahaha , I'm not so sure what it was in the end, it's just an embroidery piece haha.

Pero cuando empecé a cortar las puntas encontré un método que me sirve bastante y es usar el corta hilos de forma vertical e ir haciendo cortes de a pequeñas puntitas, es algo rápido, le dedique dos sesiones de media hora cada una y aún quedan bastantes puntitas para cortar pero ya no son tantas como al principio, fue un avance.

Esta vez hice una protección extra , como iba a cortar las puntas antes de hacerle le di una buena capa de cola vinílica para que sostenga la lana en su lugar, esto ayuda bastante a sostener el bordado y solo queda duro de la parte de abajo, pero la parte de arriba sigue siendo igual de suave que al principio, solo hago esto si voy a rapar el bordado, vi que algunos lo recomiendan para todos los bordados en punch, pero no creo que sea necesario para todos y solo lo hago si voy a rapar.
This time I made an extra protection, as I was going to cut the ends before doing it, I gave it a good layer of vinyl glue to hold the yarn in place, this helps a lot to hold the embroidery and only the bottom part remains hard, but the top part is still just as soft as at the beginning, I only do this if I'm going to shave the embroidery, I saw that some recommend it for all punch embroideries, but I don't think it's necessary for everyone and I only do it if I'm going to to shave.
Para la tela de protección utilice un retazo que tenía en mi caja y lo pegue con la pistola de silicona, en esta ocasión no me queme tanto como en veces anteriores pero más tarde ese día vi un video donde usaban dedales para proteger el dedo ante la quemadura y es una buena idea que voy a empezar a usar, no sé cómo no se me ocurrió antes.

Como estoy poniendo las cosas en orden también termine mis dos anteriores posavasos, el de corazón y el de flores, estos están hace bastante y solo faltaba ponerles la cobertura trasera y nada más pero como siempre olvide que estaba haciendo esto y empecé con otra cosa jajaja.

Con esto listo doy por terminado al menos por un tiempo mi proceso en punch, hice varias piezas pero ya tengo varias en casa y también tiene algunas piezas mi novio y mis amigos, así que antes de hacer alguna más voy a tomarme un tiempo, además estoy teniendo un poco abandonada a mi otra pasión, la costura, la última vez que cosí algo fue principios de febrero y tengo varios proyectos ahí que requieren que los termine cuanto antes.

Aun me queda bastante de mi caja de retazos y estoy buscando que ideas puedo hacer con ella, como se vienen los días de frio estoy pensando en crear una manta para cuando estoy en la computadora pero no quiero recortar muchos cuadritos así que estoy pensando de qué forma puedo hacerla con retazos y que no sea una tarea aburrida, no puedo hacer cosas aburridas jajaj pero será cuestión de organización y pensar ideas, si se les ocurre algo son bienvenidos a dejarme sus ideas en comentarios, hasta la próxima ❤️.
