The Making Of A DIY Ankara Pencil Dress With Flare Cross Bar Sleeves

It's another great week and I achieved another feat in my fashion classes as I made a dress as a classwork and I would be sharing how.
After getting required measurements, I set out to cut my fabric making out full length, arm hole, neckline, shoulder, bust, tummy and hips alongside the lining for my dress.

Thereafter I coupled both fabric and lining, this will add more weight to my fabric by sewing along the sides and turning over neatly

I attached a zipper. This has been the most challenging aspect of my training but I know it would soon be my best

Thereafter I prepared my sleeves. As I said I needed flare cross bar sleeves. My flare would be with a lace fabric

And attached to my dress.
And it came out beautifully

Here's the result of the entire process and I think I really love this.
