in #hive-1279113 years ago

Hey guys, it's a beautiful creative week and I'm always excited to share my own knowledge and creativity. I was able to come up with making of a pant and blouse.

The fabric I used is the popular Nigerian ankara print.

For my pants, I used measurements of trouser waist, flap, thigh, hip and trouser length.
As usual I marked these out first on my fabric and cut leaving a 2 inch allowance on all measurements.

For coupling, I attached a back to a front and sewed both sides by 1 inch after I had made darts on all four sides. Thereafter I see up both sides by joining them by holding the flap also by 1 inch.

Thereafter I prepared a band of 4 inches for my trouser waist having 5 inches longer than my trouser waist. Thereafter I fixed my zip

I attached pockets too to the sides of my pants.
This was actually one of the easiest procedures but it was my first time on it, so it posed to be a little difficult.

The blouse was easier because I needed something free with no particular measurements, so I did a free hand cutting but I took measurements for my shoulder, neck and blouse length.

For my front pattern I attached another plane fabric for designing.

For my back pattern, I'd be using a button so I prepared that.

After coupling front and back pattern, I cut and attach my sleeves
