While some of my friends collect and post photos of whole baskets of mushrooms, my dogs and I get only fly agarics and grebes. Actually, this is not surprising, because we walk along the forest road without going far into the forest. Besides, to be completely honest, this circumstance does not upset me at all. I need mushrooms for photographs and not for food, so their edibility or inedibility is not fundamental.

Rains and warm weather encourage mushroom growth. Therefore, I take this opportunity to replenish my photo collection so that later on winter evenings I can create colorful collages in Photoshop.

But for now, I'm just posting pictures. We are all here from different parts of our wonderful planet and each has its own nature and climate. Perhaps someone will want to create their own wonderful collages using my photos.

Mushrooms and toadstools make really good pictures. I'll have to go out looking for some to photograph.

awesome picture... thanks for sharing

Looks like the sulfur tufts are out in force over there.

Mushrooms are tasty and delicious. If someone take mushrooms from the forest to eat, then it is better to ask an expert, before eating them. The fly agaric is probably the most known poisonous mushroom, so it is not really edible, but some people, mainly in Siberia and are still eating it for religious purposes because of its psychoactive effects. Some people in Japan (mainly in Nagano prefecture) and in Lithuania are also eating it. Nowadays people very rarely die from it.

I would not eat those mushrooms which was collectes in a forest. If one is not well-informed, poisioned mushrooms could kill anybody to eat them.
