life stuff update
life is being complicated XD and I'm busy with a thousand and one things in real life, but sometimes I still find time to do what I like, what relaxes me, and everything that I find fun and makes life worth ... living it C:
in my free time I still work on songs, ~o~ at the moment I have a terrible flu, so I had to pause it, but I have a new microphone and I really hope that in the near future you can hear the new things I'm planning, I've been trying to incorporate vocalization exercises in my day to day life.
Lets talk ab Art stuff
uwu I just want to show you the process of the illustration I'm doing for someone special, and of course while I'm doing it I've been learning and seeing other illustrations with strong contrasts between lights and shadows to try different techniques and this time I'm certainly trying different colors in the shadows...
the shadows for me are always a challenge, the colors in general, I feel that it is a constant learning that never ends, I see illustrations that look super cool in the color theme and when I extract the colors are super crazy combinations between green being the color of the skin and different shades of blue or gray.
I don't know I find it interesting.
in this case this request was very specific, where the person specified the pose and the character they wanted the illustration on.
my job is to show the client what he/she wants to look like in a quick sketch.
and then we talk about if they want changes, since at the moment of the sketch is the best moment to ask for changes either related to expression or poses, i usually don't make any kind of changes when there is already color and clean lines, if the client really needs it i charge extra for these changes; and i do this to maintain a healthy artist-client relationship.
next I will show you how the whole process went so far, it's not finished yet but it should be soon C:

la vida esta siendo complicada XD y estoy ocupada con mil y un cosas en la vida real, pero a veces aun encuentro tiempo para hacer lo que me gusta, lo que me relaja, y todo aquello que me parece divertido y hace que la vida valga la pena pues... vivirla C:
en mis tiempos libres aun trabajo en canciones, ~o~ por el momento tengo una gripe terrible, asi que pude una pausa a ello, pero tengo microfono nuevo y realmente espero que en un futuro corto puedan escuchar las cosas nuevas que estoy planificando, he tratado de incorporar ejercicios de vocalizacion en mi dia a dia
uwu solo quiero mostrarles el proceso de la ilustracion que estoy haciendo para alguien especial, y por supuesto mientras la hago he ido aprendiendo y viendo otras ilustraciones con contrastres fuertes entre luces y sombras para probar difewrentes tecnicas y esta vez sin duda estoy probando distintos colores en las sombras...
las sombras para mi siempre son un desafio, los colores en general, siento que es un aprendizaje constante que nunca acaba, veo ilustraciones que lucen super geniales en el tema del color y cuando extraigo los colores son combinaciones super locas entre verdes siendo el color de la piel y distintos tonos de azules o grises.
no lo se me parece interesante.
en este caso este pedido fue muy especifico, donde la persona especifico la pose y el personaje en el que queria la ilustracion.
mi trabajo es mostrarle al cliente como luce lo que pide en un bosquejo rapido
y luego hablamos sobre si quiere cambios, ya que en el momento del boceto es el mejor momento para pedir cambios ya sea relacionados a expresion o a poses, regularmente no hago ningun tipo de cambios cuando ya hay color y lineas limpias, si el cliente realmente lo necesita cobro adicional por estos cambios; y esto lo hago para mantener una relacion artista-cliente saludable.
a continuacion les mostrare como fue todo el proceso hasta ahora, aun no esta terminado pero deberia estarlo pronto C:

this is the basic sketch of what the client wanted, for which he sent me a reference

this is the reference given by the client where he specified that he wanted a similar pose but with more changes, where you could see some of the backside and chest C: so that's what I did
Clean lines
I think cleaning the sketch lines is the most relaxing but at the same time stressful part… XD precisely because I have to redraw what I already did but perfectly with the smoothest lines possible. I used to draw with thicker lines and now I’m trying to do it… but with thinner lines and gradually reducing the lines until at some point I don’t need thick lines at all.
colors !
Now, about the colors, I’m using a very light pink background, and following some tutorials, I managed to create different skin tones and shadows. In this case, the impact of light on the face is a slightly yellowish and clear pink, similar to the background but not the same. The general tone of the face and what will be the body is a gray tone C: the white part of the eyes is light blue and well… those are the tones I’m using at the moment. In a future publication, I’ll show you more of what I’ve done
Now, about my personal life, there have been many changes, murky and problematic situations that have come back again and again. Maybe I’ll feel like commenting on it in a post because the truth is that I’ve been dealing with it for a long time, over and over again, and the worst part is that these are not problems that I have caused, nor are they my problems, but they are situations that affect me directly…
I feel like there are too many things and there aren’t many people I can sit down with and talk about what’s going on and just complain out loud about everything and everyone XD. Because even though complaining doesn’t do any good, some people need to talk about the things that bother us so as not to end up somatizing those emotions into an illness.
