Hello guys....

Today I'm going to make scented candles, which have a nice smell and are in a pretty container.

I prefer to make my own instead of buying ready made scented candles. It is more interesting if you make it yourself, we can choose for ourselves how the shape of the candle is and what aroma we want. But this time I will make aroma candles that are easy to make, especially because I have bought a set of equipment to make aroma candles so that making this candle is even easier, if the candle I made this time is successful then I will make another candle with the shape more interesting.

Materials And Tools

  • 100 gr soy wax.

  • 2 small containers, what I use are 2 small pots made of cement with pastel green and pastel pink colors.

  • Candle wick.

  • Candle wick holder.

  • Glue to attach the wick to the container, you can use hot glue or double foam glue.

  • Fragrance, I'm going to use a lavender scent.

  • A container for exhausting the wax, I'm going to use a container made of aluminum.

  • Wooden sticks or chopsticks, to stir the wax.

Like I said, that candle making is very easy. And if buying a complete set like the one I'm going to use, I've also got instructions on how to make it.

How To Make

  • Put the soy wax in a bowl, then heat it until it melts.

  • Stir using a wooden stirrer or chopsticks.

  • After melting, let stand for a while until the temperature drops to around 60-65 degrees Celsius, then add 8-10 drops of fragrance (per 100 grams of wax ideally use 7-10 ml of fragrance). Note: do not add fragrance when the temperature of the candle is still hot, because the fragrance will evaporate and the fragrance will not be optimal.

  • Attach the wick to the bottom of the container using double foam adhesive and insert the wick perpendicular to the perforated support stick.

  • Pour the wax into the container and repeat until all the containers are full.

  • Let sit until the wax solidifies, about 1 hour. Cut the wick to the desired length.

And finally my homemade scented candle is done. I immediately tried it, and it smells great. As soon as I lit the candle, my room immediately became very fragrant and the smell was very good, the scent of lavender is indeed one of the scents that I like the most. The smell is calming and makes me comfortable, this scent candle will be in my room, and maybe I will put another one in the bathroom.
