In our family, since ancient times of the past and the century before last, my ancestors, i.e. my great-grandmothers, then beautiful young ladies of the countryside, began their journey in knitting. Even earlier, the story is not dated, I only know that the great-great-great-grandmother was engaged in healing, and possibly knitted. The most recent information in the knowledge of my ancestors dates back to 1888, the year of the birth of my great-great-grandmother Kyli, i.e. Kylyna, who was a successful crochet knitter. Further, in 1908, a new knitter, great-grandmother Zina, was born, and in 1928 my grandmother Galina. Crocheted tablecloths of my great-grandmother Zina remained in the family, but they are with my distant relatives and served as a veil for my second cousin in children's games.))
Nothing knitted was left from my grandmother, only a picture embroidered with a cross. But my mother was very fond of crocheting and there were a lot of knitted napkins, which she then distributed and re-gifted, and some napkins flaunt on her tables. My own story began in 2003 with the purchase of the magazine "Burda special" Crochet.
The instructions for the magazine included a knitting tutorial. I, who had never held a hook in my hands before, learned from the pictures how to make ordinary patterns. My mother was surprised that I could do it and even sometimes asked how to knit another pattern. Mom also "put me down" on knitting for many years without taking a hook in her hands.)) I still have this skill hereditary))).
I also love knitting needles, but I think that crocheting is faster, because if you knit 3 rows with knitting needles, then you will get only one row with a crochet.
Now I knit clothes for my son and husband and for myself. Now I knit these cute cats for sale. They are up to date now. I exhibit them at various fairs. Buyers from all over my country Ukraine and even some cats went to Poland.
I like to knit, but there are such periods when I don’t want to do anything, for example, I want to take a break from knitting.
Now I have a break. But the cats are ready to go to their owners.

У нашій родині з давніх часів минулого і позаминулого століття починали свій шлях у в'язанні мої предки, тобто мої прабабусі, тодішні прекрасні сільські панянки. Ще раніше історія не датована, знаю тільки, що пра-пра-прабабуся займалася цілительством, а можливо і в'язала. Найсвіжіші відомості моїх предків датуються 1888 роком, роком народження моєї пра-прабабусі Кили, тобто Килини, яка успішно в'язала гачком. Далі в 1908 році народилася нова в'язальниця, прабабуся Зіна, а в 1928 році моя бабуся Галина. В'язані гачком скатертини моєї прабабусі Зіни залишилися в сім'ї, але вони у моїх далеких родичів і служили вуаллю моїй двоюрідній сестрі в дитячих іграх.))
Від бабусі нічого в'язаного не залишилося, тільки картина, вишита хрестиком. Але моя мама дуже любила в'язати гачком і було багато в'язаних серветок, які вона потім роздала і передарувала, а деякі серветки красуються на її столах. Моя власна історія почалася в 2003 році з покупки журналу «Бурда особлива» В'язання гачком.
Інструкція до журналу містила підручник з в’язання. Я, яка ніколи раніше не тримала в руках гачок, навчилася з малюнків робити звичайні викрійки. Мама дивувалася, що я так вмію, і навіть інколи питала, як зв’язати інший візерунок. Мама теж багато років "садила" мене на в'язання, не беручи в руки гачок.)) Це вміння у мене ще спадкове))).
Я теж люблю спиці, але вважаю, що гачком швидше, тому що якщо зв'язати спицями 3 ряди, то вийде тільки один ряд накидом.
Тепер в'яжу одяг для сина і чоловіка і для себе. Зараз я в'яжу цих милих котиків на продаж. Зараз вони оновлені. Виставляю їх на різних ярмарках. Покупці з усієї моєї країни України і навіть деякі коти їхали в Польщу.
Я люблю в'язати, але бувають такі періоди, коли нічого не хочеться робити, наприклад, хочеться відпочити від в'язання.
Зараз у мене перерва. Але коти готові йти до господарів.
