Have a nice day! So the new year has come! And I decided to mark its beginning by drawing this wonderful dragon. I hope that it will also bring you joy and happy moments.
I drew it on plywood measuring 30x70. I wanted his whole huge torso and multicolored tail to fit... This time I painted not only with acrylic, but also with various silver and golden sequins. And I also used pastel pencils and gold leaf paper in some places.
And I started writing it almost corny. First, I made a sub-dressing. And she began to draw the dragon's head.
To do this, I used orange, cadmium red, ochre and many other shades. I needed the dragon to be bright and colorful. And in some places it even shimmered with all the colors of the rainbow :-) After all, he is not simple, but fabulous, almost wonderful! and of course, he is not evil, but very friendly and kind!
Although the whole thing didn't fit into my camera at all. I had to take pictures in parts.
Moreover, there will be magic lanterns around it. I have already depicted one of them from above. Next, I had to create a torso and paws. But also, of course, work with the tail, which is covered with various scales, which all shimmers with colors and shades.
Of course, it was quite a painstaking task to draw all these small details. But as a result, I was satisfied. I was especially pleased with his eyes. I think it turned out exactly as I intended.
In the beginning, I even painted snow, but later I changed my mind and decided to make a better animation with falling snowflakes all over the canvas.
Well, in the end, my painting definitely turned out to be absolutely magical.
Although I also took a couple of photos with my wonderful dragon in a special program, I hope you will like them too :-)

Thank you for supporting me in my work! Your advice helps me a lot!
I published many of my works in this portfolio on the website "Deviant Art", and in General, during the year of painting, I drew more than 160 paintings, of course some of them are just drawings, so to speak, a sample of the brush :-)
But there are also good paintings that have received approval even from professional masters of painting!
I appreciate Your feedback and comments.
I wish you luck and have a nice day!
Best wishes!
