Kickman is delayed today, so instead here is a drawing of Spider-Man that's been on my Surface for the past few months. I drew this while working as a substitute art teacher, just to show my kids that I have some skills.
I've been using Nightcafe and Starryai to generate background images. I just hate drawing backgrounds. Starryai has a style called "Comic Art" and I thought "That would be perfect for a Spidey-drawing!"
Here are the images it generated with the prompt: CityScape
Maybe there is a comic hero called City or Scape. Undaunted, I tried again with the prompt "Manhattan Skyline." Here are my fresh results:
So, Starryai... not great at generating art without characters in it. They have another art style called "Ink Punk" which I really like, but has the same problem of not really listening to the prompts I insert. Maybe that's why it generates 4 images with each click of "Create" because it knows most of them are going to be trash.
So I switched over to Nightcafe and used the prompt "Manhattan Skyline" using the "Bon Voyage" art style, which makes not-quite-realistic images. And it gave me this to work with:
Yay! No random extraneous amalgam characters in the foreground! This I can work with...
Created in Clip Studio Paint Pro on a Surface Pro 4. Here is the timelapse video:
