De regreso con las manualidades y el día de hoy les presentó la escultura de un cangrejo hecho con materiales reciclados, a decir verdad tenía ganas de hacer algo referente al mar, algún pez o mamífero marino, así que viendo televisión vi un cangrejo y me inspire en este crustáceo y me puse manos a la obra.
Revisando mi cuarto encontré láminas de poliestireno que tenía pensado regalar, así que mientras pensaba como usar este material para hacer cada parte del cangrejo y tome mi pirografo y empecé a diseñar con papel cada parte, sus patas, cuerpo y tenazas midiendo cada un para conseguir ese resultado perfecto, luego de esto comienzan los pasos que les comentaré a continuación.
Back with the crafts and today I present the sculpture of a crab made with recycled materials, to tell the truth I wanted to do something related to the sea, some fish or marine mammal so watching television I saw a crab and I was inspired by this crustacean and I got down to work.
Going through my room I found polystyrene sheets that I was planning to give as a gift, so while I was thinking how to use this material to make each part of the crab I took my pyrograph and started to design with paper each part, its legs, body and pincers measuring each one to get that perfect result, after that the steps that I will tell you next begin.

Como primer paso y luego de recortar y sacar las diferentes partes del cangrejo comencé a pintar usando el color rojo característico del cangrejo, pintamos bien que no quede ninguna parte blanca.
As a first step and after cutting out and removing the different parts of the crab I started to paint using the characteristic red color of the crab, we painted well so that no white part remains.

Con pega de silicona caliente comencé a juntar las partes del cangrejo, las dos partes grandes que serían el caparazón, dejándolo bien pegado ajustado.
With hot silicone glue I began to join the parts of the crab, the two large parts that would be the shell, leaving it well glued tight.

Comenzando a armar y pegando más piezas con palillos y silicón caliente para conseguir que queden bien ajustados, la silicona ayuda mucho, ya que al estar en contacto con el frío y el palillo es más que todo un ajuste.
Starting to assemble and gluing more pieces with chopsticks and hot silicone to get them well adjusted, the silicone helps a lot since being in contact with the cold and the chopstick is more of an adjustment.

Tras terminar de pegar las partes del cangrejo, comencé a aplicar los detalles del en su cuerpo, usando pintura marrón, rojo más oscuro, negro y amarillo.
After finishing gluing the parts of the crab, I started to apply the details of the on its body, using brown, darker red, black and yellow paint.

¡Viene la iluminación! Usando un pincel y pintura, aplique diferentes colores para darle un efecto de sombra y detalles más realistas para dar ese toque real y colorido de esta forma, culminando esta hermosa escultura de cangrejo hecho con materiales reciclaje.
The lighting is coming! Using a brush and paint apply different colors to give it a shadow effect and more realistic details to give that real and colorful touch thus culminating this beautiful crab sculpture made with recycled materials.
