Saludos, querida comunidad, tenía algún tiempo que no publicaba aquí, pero volví más renovada (jaja) y espero retomar el ritmo. En esta oportunidad, buscábamos algunas ideas para realizar algún juego y así salir de la rutina, uno que fuera divertido y didáctico a la vez, con la finalidad de alejar el aburrimiento. Pensamos en una actividad que implicara movimiento, como estar de pie y lanzar algún objeto, en este caso, escogimos círculos. Hicimos una variación del popular juego de "Aros para ensartar". Mi ayudante fue la pequeña Sara, a ella se le ocurrió que hiciéramos un elefante por su trompa larga, esta sería ideal para nuestro propósito.

Esta actividad requiere concentración, puntería y coordinación motriz y sensorial. Por tanto, el practicarla, posee varios beneficios. Buscamos algunos materiales de provecho para poner las manos a la obra. Usamos lo que teníamos en casa. El objetivo de hacer manualidades es convertir el tiempo de ocio en momentos productivos. A continuación les voy a relatar la experiencia.

Greetings, dear community, I haven't posted here for some time, but I came back refreshed (haha). This time, we were looking for some ideas to make a game to get out of the routine, one that would be fun and educational at the same time, in order to keep boredom away. We thought of an activity that involved movement, such as standing and throwing an object, in this case, we chose circles. We did a variation of the popular "Hoops to String" game. My helper was little Sara, she came up with the idea of making an elephant because of its long trunk, this would be ideal for our purpose.

This activity requires concentration, aiming, and motor and sensory coordination. Practicing it, therefore, has several benefits. We looked for some useful materials to put our hands to work. We used what we had at home. The goal of making crafts is to turn leisure time into productive moments. I will now tell you about the experience.

Pasos:

Sacamos el patrón de la cara y las orejas del elefante. En las fotos pueden observar a mi ayudante adelantando el trabajo. Ella marcó el patrón en cartulina azul. Empleamos este color para que fuera el tono final.

Steps:

We made the pattern for the elephant's face and ears. In the photos you can see my assistant doing the work. She marked the pattern on blue cardboard. We used this color to be the final tone.

Con la ayuda de dos platos, de diferentes tamaños, marcamos dos círculos, uno encima del otro, para que quedara en forma de aro. El sobrante se extrajo con un exacto.

With the help of two plates, of different sizes, we marked two circles, one on top of the other, so that it would be in the shape of a ring. The excess was removed with an exacto.

Sara recortó la cara del elefante, la cartulina azul solo nos alcanzó para esta parte. Por tanto, en una carpeta reciclada sacamos las orejas.

Sara cut out the elephant's face, the blue cardboard was only enough for this part. Therefore, we cut out the ears from a recycled folder.

Echamos pega en el borde de cada oreja para unirlas a la cara. Así quedó el resultado:

Pintamos de azul el rollo de papel higiénico y lo pegamos al rostro, este simularía la nariz. Asimismo, le dimos color a las orejas, un azul del tono de la cara y de rosado la parte interna. Luego, marqué las líneas con el marcador negro y realicé los ojos y las cejas.

We painted the toilet paper roll blue and glued it to the face, this would simulate the nose. We also colored the ears, a blue of the same tone as the face and pink on the inside. Then, I marked the lines with the black marker and made the eyes and eyebrows.

Sara me ayudó a pintar los aros de colores variados. Colocamos el juguete en la mesa para iniciar. La meta es lanzar e introducir la mayor cantidad de aros en la nariz del elefante, de esta manera, se garantizaba la victoria. Aunque se le explicó a la niña que lo importante no es ganar, sino compartir y aprender, pues siempre puede haber frustración en el proceso. Las palabras de aliento y estímulo son valiosas para que el infante no se dé por vencido en el primer intento, en caso de tener alguna dificultad. Disfrutamos mucho esta actividad, aunque yo tenía pésima puntería, me reí bastante. La pequeña tenía más destrezas y versatilidad para afrontar este reto.

Mi objetivo es hallar estrategias que ayuden a estimular el trabajo en equipo, la creatividad y la capacidad creadora. Mientras el niño tenga mayores destrezas sociales, podrá convivir de forma armoniosa con los demás. Cada infante tiene un cúmulo de habilidades ocultas, las cuales esperan ser descubiertas y desarrolladas. Los adultos debemos crear condiciones de aprendizaje idóneas para que los niños puedan exteriorizar todo el potencial que hay dentro ellos. Espero que les haya servido de utilidad este post. Sara helped me paint the rings in a variety of colors. We placed the toy on the table to start. The goal is to throw and introduce as many hoops into the elephant's nose as possible, thus guaranteeing victory. Although it was explained to the girl that the important thing is not to win, but to share and learn, as there can always be frustration in the process. The words of encouragement and stimulus are valuable so that the child does not give up on the first attempt, in case he/she has any difficulty. We really enjoyed this activity, even though I was a lousy aimer, I laughed a lot. The little one had more skills and versatility to face this challenge.

My goal is to find strategies that help stimulate teamwork, creativity and creative capacity. The more social skills a child has, the more harmoniously he/she will be able to live with others. Each infant has a wealth of hidden abilities, which are waiting to be discovered and developed. Adults must create ideal learning conditions so that children can externalize all the potential within them. I hope you found this post useful. See you next time.
