What's up everyone?I hope you are all doing good today.
It's good to be here in this community again ,it's been a long time that I posted a blog here and glad that I have something to share with you now.
Today ,the school where my son is studying is having an activity ,it's the National Book Week and kids are required to wear a cartoon character costume.
It's a contest anyway ,so many parents put some efforts for their kids.
Last year ,I did a DIY Olaf costume from the movie Frozen ,I didn't know if frozen is having a book hihi.That time I don't any idea what costume to wear for my son good thing I remembered that he had a white sweatshirt and a white pants.
And now I decided again to make a DIY costume for him ,I was thinking to make a Peter Pan costume so I bought a cloth,the cheapest cloth type in the market.
We don't extra money to buy a costume or rent it so I decided to make a DIY costume for him.
But then he told me that he did'nt like my idea ,he want to have a Ninja costume so we searched in Google if there's a ninja character in book and glad there is.
Yesterday after we came from my son's another event in school ,maybe I will share it tomorrow hihi ,I was looking for his black pants and black sweater.
I cut a red clothes from our table cloth which we usually used if there's an occasion .
We bought also a small sword from the department store for his props.
And this is his costume,the Ninja Assassin.
The program was started around 9 in the morning ,the students was having a little parade of their costume and tell their character in front of the audiences.
This is my son ,telling his character costume.
The kids looks so cute in their costumes ,some made a DIY costumes like mine and some bought and rent a costume for their kids.
I never experienced this kind of school activity and I am excited for my son.
After telling their character ,three winners was called wearing the best costume.
After that was the contest of spelling and oral reading .
When suddenly the rain poured we went to the classroom waited for the rain to stopped.
I decided to go home even if the program was not yet end ,I need to change my kids clothes are they are having a lot of sweats on playing.But before leaving the school,I took some pictures of my son.
