Glad we are now back in Vienna ...our homebase. We were away for 4 months staying in Andalusia to escape the cold Central Europe. The first thing I went to check when we arrived last week was the Crocus and the tulip bulbs I planted last Fall in two pots. I knew they will sprout at about this time of the year when Spring is about to come. Our temperature has become milder now in our area and I am sure it´s just a matter of weeks when Spring will be here fully...But, one never knows because there was a time that until mid March it had snowed.
The tulips will definitely take more time but the crocus will be in abundance as I have put the pot inside the flat so that all bulbs would open at the same time.. I love the shade of pink/violet color and the yellow middle part of the flower called stigma, its filament and anther. They are like the crowning glory of the flower. So I am glad to see these loverlies because they are so calming. We always love flowers, don´t we?!
