I found these pretty roses while buying food in a supermarket yesterday. Their petals are so silky looking that you would think they are artificial. There were other roses with various colors but they are the ones I have chosen. They have a slight scent, so beautiful as they are, I bought a bunch and brought them home.
I arranged the roses in a vase I found at a thrift shop last week, with design that I think is appropriate for the flowers. This bunch came with a sachet powder that I dissolved in water for the vase so the blooms would last longer. I have arranged more than a hundred wildflowers showcased in my blog before Steemit and Hive came into being and I thought of sharing with you this arrangement. The photoshoot was done in various areas of the house to show the different shades of the flowers...at any rate, photography is about light.
For purposes of shooting images of the bouquet, I thought of bringing it on the balcony for more natural light. I adjusted the camera setting according to the scenes.
In this photo, the bouquet was shot in the living room while the sun was shining outside. I used a Xiaomi smartphone to capture this one.
The camera I used for these shots is a Canon EOS 90D and the lens is EFS 18-135mm. It has an editing tool called creative assistant before and after capturing an image. One can choose about the hues whether warm or cold, the adjustment can be made according to the chosen color.
Captured outside on the balcony under natural light with an ISO 100. [details 1/320 Sec ... f/5... Lens: 50 mm]
The above photo was still taken on the balcony under natural light... while the last image below was taken again on the balcony but a bit later, the sun´s setting rays were reflected on the petals and therefore a bit dark pink in color. I hope you like the images.
