Tribal marks are marks use to identify individual and their culture. They were widely used during the 19th century and before. These days, civilization has taken place in most of the African countries and people rarely get those marks on their children faces.
Here is a sketch of an African, a Yoruba woman with tribal marks on her face and native hairstyle.
The drawing was done with a blue ballpoint pen on a cardboard paper. I used scribble technique to create this piece. My steps are below:
