Feliz Sábado amigos amantes de las agujas en @needleworkmonday. Como ya sabemos, tenemos un reto en ejecución que nos invita y motiva a terminar aquellos proyectos inconclusos o ejecutar esos proyectos pendientes que por una u otra razón no hemos podido realizar.
De querer hacer tengo muchas cosas en mente, pero aunque intentaré hacer algunas de estas cosas, también es cierto que tengo una bolsa de telas de mi hija @lucianav que debí hacerle en navidad al igual que a mi hijo Leonardo y no las hice por falta de tiempo y ánimo, así que esta es la oportunidad ideal para hacerlos. Las telas tienen unos 3 meses guardadas y espero ahora si poder terminarlos.
Iniciaré este reto con uno de esos outfits que quedé a deberle a mi hija. A ella le encantan los shores y en Cumaná el clima se presta para usarlos, además que está en la edad para ello y le quedan muy bien. Tiene muchos, pero para ella nunca son suficientes y en esta ocasión le haré un modelo muy lindo para usar en ocasiones casuales.
Happy Saturday fellow needlework lovers at @needleworkmonday. As we already know, we have a running challenge that invites and motivates us to finish those unfinished projects or execute those pending projects that for one reason or another we have not been able to do.
Of wanting to do I have many things in mind, but although I will try to do some of these things, it is also true that I have a bag of fabrics from my daughter @lucianav that I should have done at Christmas as well as my son Leonardo and I did not do them for lack of time and encouragement, so this is the ideal opportunity to do them. The fabrics have been stored for about 3 months and I hope now I can finish them.
I will start this challenge with one of those outfits that I owed to my daughter. She loves shirts and in Cumaná the weather lends itself to use them, plus she is at the age for it and they look great on her. She has a lot of them, but for her they are never enough and this time I will make her a very nice model to wear in casual occasions.
La tela utilizada es un crepe estampado muy lindo y cómodo en negro y blanco. para el cual corté dos piezas delanteras y una tira para la cintura que va lisa en la parte delantera. Dos piezas traseras y una tira para la cintura trasera que en este caso lleva elástico y dos piezas para los bolsillos.
The fabric used is a very nice and comfortable printed crepe in black and white, for which I cut two front pieces and a strip for the waist that goes smooth on the front. Two back pieces and a strip for the back waist which in this case has elastic and two pieces for the pockets.
Comencé cociendo el tiro delantero y trasero, uniendo las piezas correspondientes, enfrentando derechos y pasando costura.
I started by sewing the front and back drawstring, joining the corresponding pieces, facing right sides together and sewing through.
Luego pasé a coser los bolsillos a los lados de la pieza delantera.
Then I sewed the pockets on the sides of the front piece.
Pasé a unir las piezas delanteras y traseras pasando costura por los costados o laterales, luego por la entrepierna y el ruedo.
I sewed the front and back pieces together by sewing the sides, then the crotch and hem.
Coloqué después la tira de la cintura, dejando la pieza de la cintura en la parte del frente del short lisa y colocando en la parte de atrás el elástico de unos 3 cm de ancho.
I then placed the waistband strip, leaving the waistband piece on the front of the shorts smooth and placing the elastic about 3 cm wide on the back.
Para completar el short le coloqué una tira negra en la parte de la cintura para formar un lazo en la parte del frente una vez colocada la prenda. To complete the shorts I placed a black strip in the waist part to form a bow in the front part once the garment was placed.
Vino el proceso de prueba y para mi tranquilidad quedó perfecto, no hubo ajustes que realizar y ambas fuimos felices. En este caso lo usó con un sueter a juego en color negro que ha quedado muy bien. pero este short va con uno body en color negro que aún no termino pero queda pendiente para mostrarles y completar este reto de hoy.
The fitting process came and for my peace of mind it was perfect, there were no adjustments to make and we were both happy. In this case I used it with a matching sweater in black color that has been very well. but this short goes with a body in black color that is not yet finished but is pending to show you and complete this challenge today.
