we're almost there..

Hello community, how are you, I missed you a lot, I was sick for a week and in that period, despite everything, I was doing interesting projects, a little journey that I will share with you, I also did this project that I love because it's totally made with material river recycled stone.

They are kitchen containers that I need a lot since my kitchen is small and I need space to organize this project, it took me a long time to do it because the stones are heavy and I went looking for them in a relatively nearby river. Due to the rainy season the river was either quiet or deep and the stones seem small but once you collect a certain amount it weighs and the way back is long however it was managed and it was a super relaxing experience because every time I took the stones the smell of Rio enveloped me and as I gave her that postor.

Materials:

. cans of baby formula
. Liquid silicone
. Raffia string and an old raffia wallet that I cut up and used for the border and pieces of it.

Process:

I took the can of infant formula and started gluing stones on it. I tried to create a composition. I tried to create a composition in such a way that it would be easier for me to stick the stones together. liquid silicone does not dry as fast as a hot silicone so it's a good idea to go do in my experience of course you can do it as you want for me it was easier to queue wait for it to dry place the vase vertically..

And this way to make sure the stones didn't fall out as some sums are heavier than others, I recommend putting the heavy stones at the bottom and the less heavy or smaller ones at the top, even so they check if they need to add more liquid silicone it seems boring but I swear it's therapeutic and fun.

At first I placed one of the bigger giant stones on the plastic lid of the container as a lid But the reality is that I don't need it, however, if you do, you do This is a good idea, by the way, the disclaimer went to peel off the stone. So it is preferable that they use another material that is light weight like the plastic lid.

This project was a work that I was definitely discovering along the way, I hadn't read a tutorial about it, it's something that came from my imagination and I made several mistakes, like building perfect stone columns and then believing they were sufficiently adhered and from a moment to moment they all fell as if they fell from the mountain So it can happen to you, have the patience to wait or put a hair dryer if you don't have time to wait put a hair dryer so that the silicone dries faster you are using liquid silicone you can use hot silicone the same No problem in my case.

I prefer liquid silicone, once I had already made three boats, I realized that if I added some kind of mesh, as well as looking more rustic, it would be easier for some stones to adhere to and that's when the idea to use the raffia came to me I had a strand of raffia that I got there I could not buy the complete roll at the hardware store. . I also had this handbag as a souvenir of a trip to the mountains made of raffia, raffia is a material derived from the palm tree, it is totally organic and easily flammable, so you have to be careful because as it is, practically a plant is a plant, yes the dry plant these these utensils these cooking pots shouldn't be placed near the stove other than they are spectacular for thousands of crafts and more with the Bosch decor Boom it's now with this with this bag I made the edges from one some vases, as you can see, and also with raffia I filled some spaces that I thought the container would have been very heavy and I played with stones and raffia and this is the final result.

The result is beautiful, eco-friendly, durable, a bit heavy containers but in reality they are small containers, my dream is to make much bigger containers, this is a spectacular idea for planters to cover the walls and make you count. you this i did with lots of love especially for the diy community.

If you got here thank you for reading me.
