Hello, Yarn Enthusiasts! 🌈🧶
My name is Luna, and I’m thrilled to join this vibrant community! As somewhat of a newbie in the world of crochet, I’m eager to share my journey, tips, and maybe a few adorable projects along the way.
A little about me: I stumbled upon crochet while scrolling through social media (TikTok to be exact). I was captivated by the beautiful array of colorful yarns and how it fascinated me to be able to weave a single strand of yarn into something new! And just like that, the next day, I had made my way to my local craft store, armed with enthusiasm and an armful of yarn (and yes, I may have gotten a little carried away and purchased too much lol)
Currently, I’m all about exploring the basics—granny squares have become my good friends, and every stitch feels like a tiny victory! And recently, I’ve noticed most of my crochet pieces are made from granny squares too!
My goal is to create everything from cute tops to fabulous hats that make me feel like a crochet queen. I’m also excited to learn more advanced techniques and perhaps tackle some amigurumi (those adorable little crochet creatures) as I gain more confidence.
(side note: amigurumi seems so hard for me to make🥲I’m pretty lazy though lol)
When I’m not tangled up in yarn, you can find me binge-watching anime or Korean series (I’m unashamed! Korean series are 🔥) or hanging out with my friends (favour, gift and maicha) who are very supportive of my craft😊
I also like to dabble in a lot of things (hobbies) and just last week, I developed a new interest in tailoring! I’ll soon begin my sewing journey but that’s a story for another day I suppose. Asides that, I love to bake occasionally and I also love crafting cute beaded necklaces. I’ll attach some pictures at the end of this post.
I honestly can’t wait to connect with fellow crochet lovers, share our experiences, and inspire each other to create beautiful things together!
