I haven't been able to bake bread for a long time; the only thing I often make is pancakes for my children's breakfast.
My bread baking isn't perfect because I haven't baked bread in a long time. So, I get ideas from videos I watch on Facebook, and I choose something easier to make.
Since the only available fillings I have for the bread are honey and Nutella, I decided to use them. I'm not sure how it will turn out.
Here are the simple ingredients I used, along with adjustments for those who want to try or imitate this bread.
INGREDIENTS:
- 4 Cups of All-Purpose flour or Wheat Bread (As you Prefer)
- 4 Table Spoons of White or Brown Sugar (As you Prefer)
- 2 Medium or Large Egg
- 1 1/2 Cup of warm Water
- 1/2 Cup of Vegetable Oil
- 1 packet of dry yeast
- 1 Table Spoon of Salt
EASY PROCEDURE:
1. In a large bowl, mix the wet ingredients – the egg, vegetable oil, and warm water – thoroughly.
2. Add the dry yeast, salt, and sugar, and stir well until they dissolve.
3. Add the flour gradually, stirring with a spatula until the ingredients come together. Then, use your hands to knead until everything is thoroughly mixed and smooth and does not sticky to your hands.
4. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let it sit for 45 minutes, allowing it to rise.
5. After 45 minutes to an hour, pour the dough onto the table and divide it into two or three portions according to your preference and the size of your mold.
6. If you don't have a rolling pin, you can use any round bottle to flatten the bread. Once you've flattened the dough, you can use any filling you want. Then, slowly roll the dough into your desired shape and size, as I did.
7. Once you've finished rolling the dough, cover it again and let it rise for 30 to 45 minutes. While you wait, preheat the oven to a low temperature.
8. Before you put it in the oven for 50 minutes, brush the surface with egg yolk. This helps prevent the surface of the bread from burning or cracking while in the oven. I have experienced this issue before.
9. Done! Everything is that simple and easy, and now you can enjoy some coffee alongside your freshly baked bread!
I've baked it twice, and the second time it wasn't quite right. The next time I bake, I'll make sure it's truly perfect, and I'll even change the shape. My advice is to not be afraid to try different things.
I appreciate those who supported and trusted me to create original content. I want you to know that I'll only be writing about my plants until March. I'm considering stopping because all my hard work in writing is being ignored due to the downvotes of a toxic Leader of Filipino from hiveph. If I didn't care about this site, it would have broken down like Steemit a long time ago, receiving automatic comments that most people dislike. Once again, Thank You very much.
