Blessed Needle Monday my dear Needleworkers, what a nice pleasure to greet you again. Today I am very happy to share with you this very special project. In this publication I present the project I have made for the most spoiled of the family, our beloved kitten Giorno.
Today is the end of our contest dedicated to pets and although this is not a contest entry, I didn't want to miss the opportunity to create something to give to our kitty, so this weekend I set out to do it with a lot of enthusiasm. It wasn't really hard to choose which project to make. Giorno has loved stuffed animals since he was a puppy, and since most of his stuffed animals are in pretty bad shape, it occurred to me that I could make him something cute that would catch his attention.
Before starting my project I was looking for ideas and references on Pinterest. That's how I found this cute “Ugly Duckling” that I found adorable. This is a baby toy so it has a very simple design. Although I saw it knitted in different colors, the one I liked the most was this one that is made with wool scraps of many different colors.
This time I couldn't find a written pattern or a tutorial to guide me, so I had to knit only with the reference image. The final product was quite similar to the reference, so I can say that I am quite satisfied with the result. Likewise, I can say that Giorno also liked his new toy very much, as he was very attentive and curious while I was knitting the duckling.
I really hope Giorno treats his new toy well because I really loved how cute this “ugly duckling” looks. I hope this project pleases you, I'll say goodbye for now, wishing you a great start of the week. Thanks for reading, greetings and blessings.
