Black Panther, My Spirit Animal

The sleekness and stealth of this predator, together with its power is what draws me to this animal. I've previously written before about the black panther when asked in a blogging challenge what was my spirit animal. I'm sharing him with you today.

The Black Panther. When I think about the qualities in animals I admire, the black panther comes to mind. The way this animal presents itself to its adversaries in the animal kingdom is in a bold manner. Other times, it may exhibit a mysterious attitude, laid back posture, or quiet strength.

I discovered that a panther is actually a leopard or jaguar. Its black fur coat was developed as a recessive gene in the leopard. It's also the result of a dominant gene in the jaguars. 1

The genes provides for a unique shiny black coat. The black enhances the eyes of the animal. I've always heard that looks can be deceiving. I call the black panther my spirit animal. I feel that as a spirit animal and predator, the black panther embodies the concept of grace, elegant, and power.

What I find most mysterious and unique about the panther is its strength and fierceness. It's an excellent swimmer and tree climber. Not only that, the panther can run at speeds up to 35 mph and leap at 20 feet in pursuit of its prey. 1

A few years ago, while watching an episode of Animal Kingdom, the interaction between a panther and crocodile fascinated me. I already admired this animal from when I was young.

In the episode, the black panther leapt into the water to capture a full-grown crocodile. He was submerged for a few moments. The black panther emerged with the crocodile secured squarely in its jaws. It managed to swim back to shore with ease, then drag its meal into the woods. Amazing feat he accomplished considering the crocodile was at least seven feet long.

I love certain animals portrayed in art. Whether in the wild or captured on canvas, the black panther will always have my admiration.

For some reason, I was thinking of this animal while deciding to create a another stable diffusion art image to accompany one my pure fractals

My current project includes pure fractal and stable diffusion art. The diffusion program I utilized was Deep Dream Generator. I recently discovered this program I've used for over two years now offer diffusion tools.

I used the following text input information to retrieve my vision of a beautiful and mysterious black panther.

Text input:

"Sleek black panther with style and muscular build."

Result:

I loved the output of the stable diffusion image. However, I wanted a more subtle and powerful image that fit the black panther's personality. I chose again Deep Dream Generator to provide the detail I needed. I feel the colors of the filter works well with the original image to infuse deep forest green throughout the image. The black panther's whiskers also took on the deep green hue. This feature created an ethereal image.

Type:
Deep Style 2

Used settings:
Enhance: Medium
Resolution: 0.6MP
Iterations Boost: x1
Style Weight: 50%
Style Scale: 100%
Preserve Original Colors: No

I also wanted to showcase two of my pure fractals. I produced these art pieces with Apophysis 7X, the advanced fractal rendering program. I feel these two pieces adorned my black panther beautifully.

Utilizing Canva, I was able to blend the fractals, Deep Dream Generator's stable diffusion art image, and my two pure fractals. Here is the final product:
