A whirlwind of activity, I didn't know what to expect. I licked my paw, inhaling the bubble bath scent instead of feces. Smiling, I wagged my tail not feeling urges to bite my flesh.

Welcome back to my freewrite prompt story for this week. The photo that is the subject of the story spoke to me about a puppy with a bewildered look on his face.
Describe what you see.
A sandy colored puppy with large dark brown eyes sits on an area rug. He stares pensively at something or someone out of the view of the photo. Behind him sits a soft against a wall. A window adorned with curtains exposes a cloudy view. The room appears to be a living or family room. In front of him is a colorful pet toy.
Describe what you feel.
Surprise, shock, and a myriad of emotions are running through this puppy's mind. He doesn't know what to think or how to feel. His new surroundings are foreign, but nice. He's been adopted by a family, but hasn't realized his good fortune yet and what it will mean for his future survival.
