Hello everybody,

This is also my first post of the Year 2024 here in our community. I was so happy that at long last this crocheted Sunflowers which I started making since the year 2022 and the year 2023 was really done and set up at our window. Ahahaha, would you believe this item was my work in progress for two years!

I should have joined the Community Challenge but last month of December hubby's health was not good, most of my time was devoted taking good care of him and less time to crochet. So, my phase in constructing the Sunflower was slow plus more on frogging because this was the original design. On the last row it was a variegated green color but I frogged them.

I changed it into an attractive yellow and the result is nice, the valance is attractive.

Before December 31 I was making the half Sunflower.

I crochet faster because I wanted to have a new curtain on January 1 but oh oh, we rushed hubby to the hospital about 10:00 pm , his blood pressure spike up, we spent New Year at the hospital room. We checked out at January 02, and I continued making the valance. On January 10 the Sunflower Curtain was done, and, at last I attached it to the curtain rod

Finally, I placed it on the window, how happy I was I have a new crocheted curtain.

My lesson learned on this project is not to quit. Thought like snail mail, just focus and in no time it it will be done, in his time.

Thanks for dropping by...
