We are in October already 😃
Today came with a lot, the first Sunday in the month of October.
Nigeria celebrates it's 63rd Independence Day and it's the first day in the month of October 😅
We I am trying to note today in it's glory.....as time flies 😄
Welcome to my I am alive challenge, most importantly my actifit report for Sunday 1st October, 2023.
It's good to be alive, and I am so much grateful.
My day started well with me waking up early and ready to prepare for church service.
I almost confused the time again this week, but glory to God, I was almost ready to leave the house.
Walking to church with the cool weather and morning breeze.
People that attended first service leaving.
Getting close to entering the church.
I sat down to enjoy myself in God's presence.
It's time to share the message with you 😊
Message : Dedication, secret to fruitful Christianity.
Life is a seed, when it's used for what it is created for, it yields fruits (John 12:24)
Life has no meaning when you are not living a life of Christ.
Materials things shouldn't be the primary purpose for being born again.
It's dedication that makes Christianity fruitful (John 12:26).
To be dead to self and alive to God is dedication.
Dedication must be backed up with consistency.
Dedication is a lifetime adventure.
(Psalm 92:13)
Some Areas of dedication
A. Praying for the salvation of souls (Genesis 18:22-2, Matthew 16:26b)
The value of one soul is more valuable than anything. (John 15vs16)
B. Giving for the promotion of the kingdom (Genesis 22:1-18, Acts 10;34)
We ended the awesome service with praise, prayers, thanksgiving and offerings.
In the evening while preparing dinner, my cooking gas finished.
The hustle started.
I had to look for a place to fill it.
The nearby place in my street was closed, so I had to look for a place, in another street.
After searching for sometime I finally found a place.
It's always like that on Sundays, people take it to rest so one hardly see shops open.
It annoyed me more that it added price, a kg now is 1000 naira.
Things keep getting expensive, getting worst.
We are alive......and we will survive.
Ended my day with completing the day's activities.
And giving thanks to God.
