Yesterday was a great day for a beginning. My knee and hip didn't hurt nearly as much as has been the case lately, when walking around here or at Lowe's where I went to get materials for my irrigation system update.
It is at night that the consequences of a days activities come crashing down on me.
But I digress
The red line above shows where the black feeder line sits
This shows the spray heads that are punched into the feeder line.
It was my intention to get another system like that for the bed alongside the house facing East, but...
I couldn't find one, sadly.
Then I hit upon the idea of connecting a new line and set of spray heads to the end-of-line on the existing one.
I think I would have come out cheaper if I'd gone with the first idea.
Oh well.
I spent most of yesterday morning into the afternoon doing this:
I bought more tubing, several 90° couplers and embarked on this learning experience
It's ugly now, but I'll figure a way to hide it all.
I ran the line up along the house,
(Pictured are a marigold, a tomato plant and sweet basil)
(pictured are Chamomile, several varieties of Oregano and Rosemary)
but only had time and energy to install one drop
And now it is cold and rainy. So I took some pics

Veggie Garden so far
In the center there is Bee Balm and Lavender
Otherwise, aside from the tomatoe, rosemary, basil and Marigold, it is a blank slate.
I'm proud my Chestnut survived.
I do not know if this is the inedible "Horse Chestnut" but a friend said they bought some chestnuts intending to roast them, but never got around to it so that the nuts germinated.
If these are the European chestnut, it nay not survive to make fruits ☹️
