Hello, happy new year. May the new year be amazing and fruitful. I will be sharing on how I made this DIY Peal Bead Bag
MATERIALS
• 14mm peal beads
• 6mm gold beads
• 0.7mm thread ( crystal string)
• A pair of scissors
PROCEDURES
Step 1
I started by cutting the length of thread I will be needing. Dividing them into two making sure they are equal. It shouldn't be too long or too short. Minimal to handle.
Step 2
I started off by making my base first. I started with 6 peal beads as seen below.
Using my left hand thread I put in my 6 peal beads then interchange with the thread on my right hand thread to form a flower shape like this
Step 3
Putting my two thread together, I slip in one peal bead placing it in the middle.
Using both my left and right thread,I interchange with the bead infront or at the back but not sideways.
Step 4
I progress forward with two gold beads and two peal beads.
Using the thread on my left hand. I slip in one gold bead first before two peal beads and a gold bead which I interchanged with the thread on my right hand.
I progress forward with just two peal beads and a gold bead forming this shape.
Step 5
The last phase of the base,I start with two gold beads and two peal beads.
I start with my one gold bead followed by two peal beads then a gold bead forming this shape. Using my right thread I interchange with the gold bead on my left thread.
Progressively I use two peal beads and a gold bead. After interchanging each section, the bead next to my right thread I interchange using two peal beads and a gold bead.
This is the last phase of my base before I start building up.
Note,at every start of a new section I start with two gold beads and two peal beads. The next with just be two peal beads and a gold bead.
Step 6
The building up phase,I start with two gold beads and two peal beads. I put one gold bead first followed by two peal beads using my last gold bead I interchange with my right thread, then drag so that it can be tight.
Note: At every point when the thread finishes, it shouldn't be too short. Secure the thread by weaving it into the bead making sure to drag so it wouldn't be loose.
Progressively I use two peal beads and one gold bead.
Step 7
Progressively I build up my bead bag using two peal bead bags and a gold bead. I usually build up to 8 count before doing my handle.
Step 8
I use 10 peal beads and 3 gold beads for my handle. I cut out another thread, counting the middle of the bead which I will use for my handle. I secure the thread from the handle by weaving the thread into the bead down to the bottom for it to be adequately secured.
This masterpiece can be rocked to perfection. Thank you for your time.
Have a spendid new year!
