Good morning everyone; This time I tell you that one of my plants became a male for reasons unknown to me at first.
The plant got dusted with cement a couple of weeks ago by a guy who was doing some work in the backyard. Back then the plant lost too many leaves that were burned by the chemicals.
I observed it periodically with the hope that at some point it would begin to form buds but it still did not show white hairs, it was something very rare for the age of the plant; with more than 3 months taking into account that its life cycle reaches 6 to 8 months.
To my bad luck I began to notice the formation of small spheres and unfortunately it turned into a male, at this moment I made the decision to cut the stem and throw the remains somewhere.
After cutting the main stem and pouring all the earth into a hole to fill the soil, I find another surprise; the pot was full of red ants. The ants had colonized the entire underside of the plant which was sure to put more stress on the plant.
Anyway, I had a month of bad luck because during all this the seeds that germinated died.
