Hi Hiveians! Today I'd like to show you how to make a 3D pop-up heart card that I made for a special day, on mothers day!
When I said 3D, it literally is! I wanted to give it an amazing effect so that when the card is opened, a beautiful heart comes up beating at you. 😀
Materials:
Pencils and eraser
Scissors
Glue
Three sheets of (pink) colored paper and one white paper sheet
Colored pencils and two healthy hands! 😄
First, grab one of the pink colored paper and fold it as shown in the image below so that when you place a ring in the folded part, the shadow looks like a heart! How awesome!
Put this sheet aside and grab a white paper, you can cut the edges of it to give it a cool effect. I drew two girls on it posing as they present the heart we are about to put in the middle. The drawing took me about an hour so I hoped my mama would like it.
Now you can glue this paper onto the folded pink paper we did the photo experiment with. 😊
Afterwards, take two different pink colored papers and fold them twice.
Next, draw a heart on the paper and cut it out. With one piece of paper, you get about 4 hearts. So I folded and cut out 2 pieces of paper to get 8 hearts.
Then, fold every heart in the middle so that they look like butterflies!
Once they are all folded, we may glue them together by the sides and onto the open card!
For the front, I wrote "Happy Mothers Day" in an interesting way and font. I thought, let's make this look poofy! Hehe.
The final results! 😀
Lovely! Just look at that big heartbeat!
When I showed this card to my mama, she really enjoyed it and with a big smile, it came to her delight.
Thank you for viewing my post, I hope you enjoyed it and enjoy the rest of your day!
