💜Divine Pastora Charm/Dije de la Divina Pastora💜 [ENG-ESP]

Hello beautiful people of the #Jewelry community. This January 14 will be celebrated in the capital city Barquisimeto the 166th visit of the Virgen Divina Pastora, so yesterday I was excited to make a charm of the Exalted Patroness. This is a religious piece made of clay with the Brick stitch technique.
The whole region of Lara is devoted to this virgin, there is a walk from Santa Rosa to the cathedral of Barquisimeto. I decided several years ago to make a piece of art, a handicraft in her honor to commemorate this visit.

Hola gente linda de la comunidad #Jewelry. Este 14 de enero se celebrará en la ciudad capital Barquisimeto la visita N.º 166 de la Virgen Divina Pastora, entonces ayer me entusiasmé en hacer un dije de la Excelsa Patrona. Esta es una pieza religiosa en mostacilla con la técnica Brick stitch.
Toda la región larense es devota de esta virgen, se desarrolla una caminata desde Santa Rosa a la catedral de Barquisimeto. He decidido desde hace varios años en realizar una pieza de arte, una manualidad en su honor para conmemorar dicha visita.

To make the pattern I had a difficulty, when I set out to make the diagram in the program of abalorios.es, the canaima (a PC that the government gave me a long time ago) presented an error and did not start anymore, it was damaged. Fortunately I was able to take a picture before the event. Where the arrow is located is where you start to make the charm. I made this model specifically to have a reference at the time of selling, at this date sales are very safe, at the moment I have three orders among my family, as I need resources for my university studies, anyway wish me good luck.

Para hacer el patrón tuve una dificultad, cuando me dispuse a hacer el diagrama en el programa de abalorios.es, la canaima (Una PC que dio el gobierno hace mucho tiempo) presentó un error y no arrancó más, se dañó. Menos mal pude hacer una foto antes del suceso. Donde está ubicada la flecha es por donde se empieza a hacer el dije. Este modelo lo hice específicamente para tener una referencia a la hora de vender, en esta fecha las ventas están muy seguras, por los momentos tengo tres encargos entre mis familiares, ya que necesito recursos para mis estudios universitarios, de todos modos deséenme mucha suerte.

Colocamos una mostacilla más grande, esta será el “nudo” que evitará que las mostacillas se corran. Comencé con las mostacillas del pelo, luego fui haciendo el vestido.

Here I already formed a large part of the dress, the face, the crown and the child.

Aquí ya formé gran parte del vestido, del rostro, la corona y del niño.

We finished making the child.

Terminamos de hacer al niño.

Here the cane is already made, and we finish making the whole figure.

Aquí ya se hace el bastón, y terminamos de hacer toda la figura.

We go to the tip of the crown and make a ring with beads. We pass the excess thread several times around the figure to make it more rigid.

Nos vamos a la punta de la corona y hacemos un aro con mostacillas. El hilo excedente lo pasamos varias veces por toda la figura para que esta quede más rígida.

I am very happy to finish this project, it comforts me a lot and inspires me a lot of peace. I also tell you that this Brick Stitch technique fascinates me more and more every day, the detail is that the beads must be calibrated to achieve a better effect, I recommend using Delicas Miyuki 11/0. However, this charm turned out quite well. Thanks to Our Lady and I made it in one afternoon.

Estoy muy feliz de culminar este proyecto, me reconforta bastante y me inspira mucha paz. También les comento que esta técnica Brick stick cada día me fascina más, el detalle es que las mostacillas deben ser calibradas para lograr un mejor efecto, recomiendo usar Delicas Miyuki 11/0. Sin embargo, este dije quedó bastante bien. Gracias a la Virgen y lo hice en una tarde.

Then last year I made a decision to draw the virgin and give it as a gift to my dear mother, also this year I made this charm, to use it that day, so that she protects me.

The Virgin Divina Pastora has served for many years to congregate thousands of parishioners, and this procession is considered one of the longest.

Hacer este dije me trajo muchos recuerdos. Cuando en años pasados el Diario, el Impulso, obsequiaba un almanaque de la Virgen. Mi mamá salía temprano a comprar dicho periódico, lo coleccionó por varios años hasta que dejó de salir, por la escasez de papel que se produjo en ese tiempo y hasta hoy el periódico no volvió a circular en físico, es decir en papel, ahora se difunde en forma digital. Luego el año pasado tomé una decisión de dibujar la virgen y obsequiársela a mi querida madre, además este año hice este dije, para usarlo ese día, para que me proteja.

La virgen Divina Pastora ha servido por muchos años en congregar una cantidad de miles de feligreses, la cual esta procesión está considerada una de las más largas.

A mí me gustó como quedó el dije de la Virgen, ¿Y a ustedes que les pareció?
