Greetings my esteemed friends on Home Edders community, it's another beautiful day and I'm glad to meet you guys healthy and hearty. It's your friend @inspiredbyhive saying hello from Nigeria.
It's been a busy week for me and the kids and I'll say that my time with them isn't a wasted time. We are actually continuing with our three letter puzzle but this time it's coming in a very difficult manner to see my kids patience in seeking and arranging a difficult puzzle such the one I'll be unveiling today.
Today, I decided to assume the position of an artist and to my greatest surprise it went on very well but not palatable all the way.
My today homeschooling job description is to draw an elephant and make a puzzle out of it. Drawing the elephant came with several challenges and at some point I got discouraged. As a father that wants his children to emulate him, I decided to continue and I'll leave you to judge whether the drawing is worth my effort or not.
Puzzle Description
The puzzle is a mixture of the elephant and some three letter words. The kids were to take their time to assemble the elephant as well as fix the three letter words together. I bet it was even difficult for their mom to fix but at the end she did after about 1 hour 30 minutes.
Items Used in the Preparation of the Puzzle
- Cardboard
- Scissors
- Pencil for drawing
- Maker pen for writing
How to Prepare the Puzzle
- Get a cardboard and cut the required size you want to use.
- Sketch the object you want to use for the puzzle. For the sake of today's puzzle, we decided to sketch an elephant.
- After sketching the object, make straight lines on the object.
- Write the three letter words you want in the little square box.
- Cut the object or elephant into different sizes in a puzzle form but don't lose the shape of the object.
- After that scatter the cut object and the game is ready for play.
Benefits of the Puzzle Game
- It test the kid's patience level.
- to improve the memory of the kid
- to enhance the motor skills of the kid.
- to help the kid assimilate three letter words.
Thanks for stopping by my post, hope you enjoyed yourself and I'll like to see your own puzzle if you don't mind. Make sure you give the kids much fun at this stage of their lives.
