heute mal was Neues von der SMART Front. Ja, so ein Youngtimer bedarf etwas Pflege und Zuwendung. Aber "Smarti" braucht deutlich mehr von allen. Wir haben das Gefühl, dass dieses Auto sich gerade die ganze Liebe und Zuwendung gerade von uns zurückholt. Aber was ist nach dem Motortausch, den alles passiert?

Wenn ein kleines Auto auf einmal keine Leistung hat, macht man sich schon Sorgen, was jetzt schon wieder klemmt. So auch hier nur mit Vollgas. Er reicht der Wagen mit Mühe und Not gerade mal 90 km/h. Also haben wir erst mal das Steuergerät ausgelesen, um das Problem zu finden. Siehe da, da war ein Fehler im Speicher. Der "Geschwindigkeitssensor" ist defekt, dann tauschen wir mal. Was leichter gesagt als getan ist, den erliegt an einer Stelle wo man schlecht herankommt. Nach der Probefahrt mussten wir feststellen das, die Gänge jetzt besser schalten, aber Leistung ist noch nicht zu Hause.

Gut dann müssen wir an die Drosselklappe heran, gut das wir eine Ersatz Drosselklappe haben. Fix diese mit einem speziellen Reiniger sauber gemacht und er sah wie neu aus. Somit haben die beiden Teile aus getauscht. Die Reinigung der Drosselklappe war überfällig, wie ihr auf dem ersten Bild sehen könnt. Doch meine Frau entdeckt das wahre Problem.

Es hat sich doch die Schlauchverbindung vom Turbolader zum Ladeluftkühler gelöst. Somit wurde ein Turbomotor zu einem Sauger. Auch hier ist dann die Leistung weg, den der Motor braucht den Turbo um Kraft zu erzeugen. Also schnell den Fehler beheben und dann noch ein Blick in das Steuergerät. Den nach der Drosselklappen Reinigung haben wir auch das Ansaugrohr und die Ventile mit gereinigt, das bei laufendem Motor. Zum Glück waren keine Fehler hinterlegt, damit ab auf Probefahrt. Siehe da und der kleine rennt wieder und erreich spielend seine Höchstgeschwindigkeit. Auch die Automatikschaltung funktioniert tadellos. Kleine Fehler, aber große Wirkungen.

After cleaning the throttle valves, we also cleaned the intake manifold and the valves while the engine was running. Fortunately, no errors were stored, so off on a test drive. Lo and behold, the little one runs again and easily reaches its top speed. The automatic transmission also works perfectly. Small errors, but great effects.
