Morbid I know! But this is what my dogs eat. My dogs are a primitive breed and thrive on raw meat like this. Lucky for me the area I live in has many farmers and ranchers that have huge cattle herds. The occasional bear or mountain lion may come through and well you know what happens next…

With the freezing temperatures lately I’ve had to cut some of the carcasses up to help them thaw a bit for the pups. Of which I now have 5 beautiful pups to take care of. I started with just one a few years ago after thinking I disliked dogs lol.

How are you spending your weekend?

I've heard about raw meat diets for felines, but didn't know it was a thing for dogs too.

Also really impressed you are willing to get hands on with prepping your food for your dog. Bravo!

Thank you 😊

Carcass, new word learned. xD

Gave 3 cent upvote from personal account xD

I hope I will remember this word though haha

I can help you remember it.

I've read that some amount of raw meat is good for dogs in general. Something about how they process it. I give my medium beagle mix turkey necks every now and again and he loves em!

Depends on the breed of dog and if they can digest the raw diet. Turkey necks are one of her favs
