Hey fam! It's a beautiful new week n I hope you're ready to take charge?
I bring to you a peplon blouse, you can use it with skirt to work, or with trousers for work or your casual outtings.
Here's how I combined mine.
Let's get straight to the making
- fold your material into a triangle as shown in my previous works to cut a flair.
repeat the same process to have the back flair.
fold your material into two, from the top of the material Mark about 8inches, that's the bust point.
from the top of the material Mark about 15 inches for the half-length, that's the waist point.
at the top of the material Mark inwards to get your shoulder measurement
at the 8inches point mark your bust measurements/4.
at the 15inches point, mark your waist measurements/4
include 2inches zipper allowance, trace out n cut.
That's the back.
fold your material into two, identify the top of your material, your 8inches point n your 15inches point.
mark 3inches inwards, 4inches inwards and 3inches inward at each of those points.
trace n cut out.
that's the middle part of the front cutting. Now the sides a little bit complicated I can't figure out a way to explain that you all will understand except through a video.
Pad it with your breast pad.
Add paper gum to your flair, to give it a little weight.
- cut out linning n join up your dress.attach any hand of your choice.
We are ready 😁
