IF IT MAKES YOU HAPPY. DO IT.
Life seems so vague right now, why not add some pastels on it.
Charrr lang... hehehe
Good day, Hivers!
I just wanted to share my DIY Arch balloon that I made during the surprise baby shower of Ate Gilaine's friend, Hanna.
Ate Gilaine @purepinay was the one who bought the balloons. And thanks to @itsmiessyonpeakd, by the way, for the paper flowers. They helped a lot in giving more accent to the arch.
Since my sister bought pastel colors, I decided not to add any color to contrast it, because I usually use chrome balloons and white balloons with confetti. Thus, pastel colors represent the simplicity of the celebrant.
As I know her for a short time, she's so simple and a warm person. Therefore, these pastel colors suit her. Ate Gilaine told me that it was a surprise, that Hanna didn't know anything about it. And I was thinking I hope this works, coz I remember the last time I made a surprise I ended up eating all the food I made coz the celebrant came home at dawn!! and the cake melted!. hahahha
I don't want to happen again coz it's frustrating and heartbreaking. hahaha
Anyways, let's go back to the surprise for Hanna. So far it was a success. She was shocked that I made her an arch balloon. The most important thing for me is that I made her happy and I made my sister happy. Though it was a tiring day! it feels good to DIY again coz after a long break of not making one, I had finally managed to make it by myself again and make it neat as possible.
Here are the photos from before and after.
Ate Gilaine was the one who took shots of these while she was busy cooking her ultimate shepherd's pie.
BEFORE
I pumped the 100 pcs. 10 inch size balloons and tied a set of balloons together by their color. Tying them together will secure them from falling down when I tie them up with string.
As you can see in the photo, I also have small balloons which are 6 inches in size. These will be the accents and fillers. And it looks more cute with small balloons, hehehe.
AFTER
See the details of the arch balloon, hope you guys likes it. hehe

Hanna's Mom and Son
The food was prepared by Ate @purepinay. It was a small gathering so she just cooked good for 5-6 persons. We ended up so full while the two boys, Bobby and Josiah was so buys playing and running around.
After chit-chatting about how I know to make the arch balloon , Hanna & her husband thanked me for making the surprise baby shower unforgettable and classy as she said, hehe.
I was so thankful that they appreciated my effort. And at the same time, I had fun making it.
Our #hivelloween will be one to remember this coming year. I'll be making a massive arch balloon out of nearly a thousand balloons. I'm both excited and nervous about it. I'm hoping it goes well because the venue is so large that I was hoping the balloons would suffice.
I will, of course, use a variety of materials in addition to balloons to make it more appealing.
My blog about the 2nd batch of materials for # Hiveloween is still in draft. Hehehe, I will be posting it soon.
I think this is for today's blog. I hope you guys are doing great. Always take care and don't forget to eat healthy.
Til' next time...
