I don’t remember if I saw this picture online or the idea just popped into my head, but I wanted to try to paint it anyways.
I have never spent time and engaged myself to paint, but I bought everything I needed for maybe 6 years ago. Some of the colors aren’t opened, and that says a lot about how much I paint. Haha.
I started off with mixing some of the colors and tape the middel part of the canvas. I took a white paint and painted on the sides of the tape. Let it dry, then painted the chosen colors on both sides. The reason is because then the line in the middle would become a straight line. I do the same when I paint my walls.
Then I clipped out a cat I drew on a paper. And taped it to the dried, red paint. And then I just painted black around the stensil/the cat I clipped out.
I then filled out the cat with black paint. I used a bigger brush to fill out the cat, and a really small brush to paint the line around the cat as perfect as it could be.
And then I was done!
I regret a little bit that I didn’t paint the sides in red and pink in two layers. I mixed those colors with a white color, and I don't want to destroy the look in it now. But for not being good at painting, I think this was fun to try out! I always think it’s fun to see that I’m better than I thought.
