Creating a collectible 2D figure inspired by WALLE from HOLOZING [ENG/ESP]

Hello my Hivers video game lovers, once again with all of you joining this great excitement that overwhelms us all waiting for this great project that with just a couple of glimpses has shown us the great potential it has, so you can imagine the commotion that will be generated when we see the first previews of HOLOZING. But for now we can only support the hard work of all those who are part of everything and for my part is generating publicity and creating expectation in the best way that can be done, with drawings or in my case collectible figures, some that for some time I have decided to create and that little by little will grow as the project progresses and we continue to meet new creatures. For now I leave you with the process of this new friend "WALLE".

[Spanish version] Que tal mis Hivers amantes de los videojuegos, una vez mas con todos ustedes uniéndome a esta gran emoción que nos embarga a todos en la espera de este gran proyecto que con solo un par de vistazos nos ha demostrado el gran potencial que tiene, así que ya se pueden imaginar el revuelo que se generara cuando veamos los primeros avances de HOLOZING. Pero por ahora solo nos queda apoyar el arduo trabajo de todos los que forman parte de todo y por mi parte es generando publicidad y creando expectativa de la mejor manera que se puede hacer, con dibujos o en mi caso figuras coleccionables, unas que desde hace un tiempo he decidido crear y que poco a poco ira creciendo con forme vaya avanzando el proyecto y sigamos conociendo nuevas criaturas. Por ahora los dejo con el proceso de ese nuevo amigo "WALLE".

Those who were able to see the previous work of the MIU collectible will know what this is all about, and will also take into account that I'm a bit of a collector, since I was a kid I like cartoon and series cards, stuffed animals of famous animated series and stop counting 😅, so this is a new chapter of collector and it motivates me a lot because it reminds me a lot of those beautiful times for which my generation already know with the video game (POKEMON) inspiration of this project.

[Spanish version] Los que pudieron ver el anterior trabajo del coleccionable de MIU sabrán de que va todo esto, y también tendrán en cuenta que soy un poco coleccionista, desde niño me gustan las cartas de caricaturas y series, peluches de series animadas famosas y pare de contar 😅, así que este es un nuevo capítulo de coleccionista y me motiva mucho porque me recuerda mucho a esos hermosos tiempos por los que mi generación ya sabemos con el videojuego (POKEMON) inspiración de este proyecto.

The process will be very simple and we will need the following materials that I show you below:

For materials I like to prioritize recycling, sometimes less is more and it is not necessary so many things to achieve a good job, in this way we take advantage of those materials that in principle we have forgotten and instead of ending up in the trash become a collectible work of art.

[Spanish version] Para los materiales me gusta priorizar mas el reciclaje, a veces menos es mas y no es necesario tantas cosas para lograr un buen trabajo, de esta manera sacamos provecho de esos materiales que en principio tenemos olvidados y que en vez de terminar en la basura se convierten en obra de arte coleccionable.

To start this work what we will do is to create our draft of the creature, we will only need paper and pencil, as well as a lot of patience to achieve the best possible finish.

! [Spanish version] Para dar inicio a esta obra lo que haremos será crear nuestro borrador de la criatura, solo necesitaremos papel y lápiz, además de mucha paciencia para lograr el mejor acabado posible.

Once we have our draft drawn, we will proceed to work with the moldable foami, prepare the dimensions we want to capture the drawing, in this case it will not be very large, since it will be a collectible figure. For this we will stretch the moldable mass with the help of a pencil or cylindrical object that will facilitate this task.

[Spanish version] Una vez tengamos nuestro borrador dibujado, procederemos a trabajar con el foami moldeable, preparar las dimensiones que queramos para plasmar el dibujo, en este caso no será muy grande, ya que se tratara son una figura coleccionable. Para esto estiraremos dicha masa moldeable con la ayuda de un lápiz u objeto cilíndrico que nos facilite dicha tarea.

Once we have the dimensions, we will start to shape the drawing, for this we will use carbol paper that will help us to trace the creature in the moldable foami.

! [Spanish version] Teniendo ya las dimensiones pasaremos a plasmar el dibujo, para esto utilizaremos papel carbol que nos ayudara a calcar a la criatura en el foami moldeable.

Already having most of the process ready, what we will do next is to remove our creature from the dough, for this task we will use a blade or sharp object that will help us to remove the excess of the dough until we have only the silhouette of WALLE.

! [Spanish version] Ya teniendo gran parte del proceso listo, lo que haremos a continuación será sacar nuestra criatura de la masa, para esta tarea utilizaremos una hojilla u objeto filoso que nos ayude a retirar el excedente de la masa hasta tener solo la silueta de WALLE.

Having our creature almost ready, it is time to give it joy and color, we will paint WALLE with their characteristic colors that make them represent the water element.

! [Spanish version] Teniendo a nuestra criatura ya casi lista, es momento de darle alegria y color, pintaremos a WALLE con sus colores característicos que los hace representar al elemento agua.

With this we have our creature ready, it only remains to give it its deserved stage to show it off in some space. For this we will use a piece of cardboard that we will then decorate with frosted foami to give even more shine to the creature.

! [Spanish version] Con esto tenemos a nuestra criatura lista, solo queda darle su merecido escenario para lucirla en algún espacio. Para esto utilizaremos un trozo de cartón que luego decoraremos con foami escarchado para darle aun mas brillo a la criatura.

And with this ladies and gentlemen we can give closure to this work of art which will officially become part of my small collection of HOLOZING, which is still very humble but as I said at the beginning of this post I'm sure it will grow and more and more friends will join.
