Planting strawberries in the yard.
Hi all of you..
I'm so happy now that I can meet my friends again through this post.
Alright, today I want to show you some pictures of strawberry plants that are in my house and today have started to bear fruit for the first time.
Friends, one of my goals on this occasion is to share information for those of you who like gardening but don't own land like me. So you can try it by planting something using polybags as I have done now.
Planting using polybags is one solution for those of us who do not have land and we can do it in a narrow area, including in the yard, by placing and arranging polybags using shelves.
One of the plants that grows very well with polybag planting media is strawberry, this is because this plant is small with a shallow root structure so it is very suitable to be planted in polybags.
How many months the strawberry plant begins to bear fruit.
Strawberry plants are starting to bear fruit or we can harvest them when they are 2 to 4 months old, this is the first harvest.
So after the first harvest we do, to pick or do the next harvest we can do 3 times or 2 times in one week.
One thing that is needed by all types of plants besides water is fertilizer.
So the strawberry plants that I planted in polybags I fertilized them using compost fertilizer.
Compost is a type of organic fertilizer produced by nature through the process of rotting leaves and also other plant materials that have blended with the soil, this is a very good fertilizer we use on strawberry plants.
Strawberry is a germinating plant that grows lengthwise, we can use this to add to the plant by cutting and planting directly in other polybags, in areas with hot temperatures with high solar intensity, try not to get the plant exposed to direct sunlight because it will make the plant wilted or dry.
So to avoid this you can install a paranet net that functions to block direct sunlight.
You can do the watering process 2 times a day, in the morning and evening.
Friends, maybe that's one solution for those of you who like gardening but don't have land, you can try like I did, using polybags.
