Hola a toda mi gente de Hive, espero que la estén pasando bien, les prometí en un post pasado que no me iba a ausentar mucho, así que me estoy esforzando un poco para que puedan leer por lo menos tres escritos por semana, esa es la meta que me puse. Ya han pasado 4 días y no he hecho mi primer escrito de la semana y eso me tenía un poco preocupado, porque me gusta cumplir lo que prometo, le he estado dando vueltas y vueltas a la cabeza y nada que se me ocurría.

It's been 4 days now and I haven't done my first writing of the week and that had me a little worried, because I like to keep what I promise, I've been going round and round in my head and nothing I could think of.

El día miércoles mi hijo me llama como a eso de las 8 de la mañana, para que le colaborará, necesitaba comprar unos bloques y cemento para la construcción de unos mesones para la cocina del anexo que está construyendo por los lados de tipuro. Le dije que me diera un par de horas porque estaba haciendo el desayuno y necesitaba buscar a su tía que estaba en una labor importante fuera de casa, yo cuando puedo le prestó el apoyo para irla a buscar, él estuvo de acuerdo en esperar a que me desocupara. Ya terminadas mis tareas pendientes, lo llamé para decirle que iba a buscarlo, él estaba por los lados del mercado ya que andaba con Jose, quien estaba visitando a un paciente que tenía a su cuidado. Jonathan le dejó la llave del carro y se vino conmigo en la camioneta a comprar el material de construcción.

Once I finished my pending tasks, I called him to tell him that I was going to pick him up, he was around the market since he was with Jose, who was visiting a patient in his care. Jonathan left him the key to the car and came with me in the truck to buy the construction material.

Ya en el sitio que queda por la avenida cruz peraza, compramos los bloques y el cemento, nos dirigimos a llevárselo al albañil en tipuro, tuvimos que prestarle apoyo, porque el ayudante del señor que está haciendo el anexo no había llegado.

Me pare hoy muy temprano para agarrar un poco de agua ya que en esta semana a estado fallando un poco el vital líquido, solo me dio tiempo hacer el café, me puse mano a la obra, porque hay que colocar la bomba ya casi en la salida de la calle y extender las mangueras hasta el tanque de la casa, luego estar al pendiente que no venga los amigos de lo ajeno y se la lleven. Lo bueno fue que en la casa teníamos un poco de pan y sería algo rápido lo del desayuno, pero mi esposa se encargó de elaborarlo, se me ocurrió que mientras vigilaba, podía aprovechar el tiempo para ver qué hacía con las maderitas, se me ocurre que podía hacerles unas cajitas, que sirvieran como macetas para que Carmen colocará algunas pequeñas plantas.

The good thing was that we had some bread in the house and it would be a quick breakfast, but my wife was in charge of making it, it occurred to me that while I was watching, I could take advantage of the time to see what I could do with the wood, it occurred to me that I could make some little boxes, which would serve as pots for Carmen to place some small plants.

Le comenté a ella y le pareció bien. En esta foto les muestro los materiales que usé: clavos, martillo, un machete porque no tenía segueta, eso para emparejar las que no estuvieran del mismo tamaño.

Empecé con el proceso de elaboración, buscando las tablas que fueran del mismo tamaño y si no poderlas ajustar con el corte del machete. Fue algo rápido, mi esposa se encargó de tomar las fotos mientras yo empezaba a darle forma a las macetas. En algunas ocasiones, ella me ayudó con el martillo y a meter algunos de los clavos, mientras yo sujetaba las maderas.

I started with the process of elaboration, looking for boards that were the same size and if not I could adjust them with the machete cut. It was something quick, my wife was in charge of taking the pictures while I started to shape the pots. On some occasions, she helped me with the hammer and to drive in some of the nails, while I was holding the wood.

Luego decidí ponerle algo de color, busqué en el depósito y me conseguí con unas pinturas que habían quedado por allí, las pinté de varios colores. Se las muestro por aquí.

Then I decided to add some color, I looked in the warehouse and got some paints that were left over there, I painted them in different colors. I show them here.

Finalmente con la ayuda de mi esposa quien estaba contenta con el trabajo realizado, le buscamos los posibles usos, la primera opción fueron las plantas y a mí se me ocurrió que también serviría para colocar sus conos de hilo, para lo de su labor de costura.

Finally with the help of my wife who was happy with the work done, we looked for possible uses, the first option was the plants and it occurred to me that it would also serve to place her yarn cones, for her sewing work.
