But beauty is about finding the right fit, the most natural fit, To be perfect, you have to feel perfect about yourself --- avoid trying to be something you're not. For a goddess, that's especially hard. We can change so easily.

Aphrodite, Goddess of Love and Beauty👸
Hello there! I am @daenerhys and I hope you're all doing fantastic! Recently, I had the pleasure of hosting our school's English Festival along with my friend, @itsmateo. It was an exciting event that showcased various talents and creativity. One of the highlights of the festival was the English Festival Battle of the English Songs, Jingle Dance Contest, and Cosplay competition where my classmate, Mae, represented our section (12-Platinum) and portrayed "Andromeda" from Greek mythology.
Me and Mae💖
Andromeda, as you might know, is a beautiful princess who is the daughter of King Cepheus and Queen Cassiope of Joppa in Ethiopia. She is also the wife of Perseus, the Demigod son of Zeus. Mae's portrayal of Andromeda was extraordinary. She looked fierce and stunning, to the makeup I did for her. I must admit; I am not a professional makeup artist, but I love experimenting with makeup, and Mae's makeup look turned out to be fantastic.
Gorgeous Andromeda😍
I am very proud of myself for achieving such a beautiful look for Mae. Andromeda in the movie I've watched before had soft features but in Mae's look; I transformed her into a fierce and unique version of Andromeda with my makeup skills. And yes, it's indeed unique because because Mae is a black short haired Andromeda hahaha. It was challenging, but I watched a lot of makeup tutorials, and with practice, I got better. In fact, I used to do my own makeup when I joined beauty pageants and modeling last 2016, as the services of a professional makeup artist were expensive. So, I practiced doing makeup on my own.
The event also showcases the different talents of the students. In, The Battle of the English Songs where my brother-in-law @tomilee was one of the contestants and my best friend Bernadith, both of them secured a spot in the top 3 winners. In the Jingle Dance Contest, the Grade 12 students, my classmates, dominated and secured the first-place spot with their mesmerizing and enjoyable performance(Actually, I almost lost my voice shouting and cheering for them hahaha the boys wear mini skirt during the dance). It's amazing to see so much talent on that was showcased at our school's English Festival!

The Top 3 winners(Bernadith, Angela ,and @tomilee )💕
During the event, I did not put makeup on myself as I had to focus on hosting the event with @itsmateo. But, I still managed to look presentable with my DIY outfit as "Aphrodite." Despite not having time for makeup for myself, I still felt of being confident and empowered by the positive energy of the event. The event was a success, and everyone enjoyed it. I am thrilled that everyone appreciated and amazed at Mae's transformation. I hope to get more opportunities to showcase my makeup skills in the future and share my passion for creativity with others. It's moments like these that remind me why I love what I do.

I hope to continue to inspire others and showcase my skills in future events. I am excited for what the future holds. Take care and have a fantastic day!
