Logo Designer Needed!

Good Monday Morning to you!

I am looking for a logo designer to recreate this design that was created for me back in 2018.

It was during those Steemit days and for some reason I failed to make sure I had the file saved in multiple places 🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ (I know it’s saved somewhere else but I just can’t find it). The designer of this logo sent me a copy of the file through steem chat which we all know is no longer in existence. He himself hasn’t been active since 2018 and I have no other way of reaching him.

If you or anyone you know can recreate my logo and maybe even give it a slight update (starting with capitalizing the s: CroSheille) please leave me a comment below so we can further discuss details. We can talk prices etc. further on discord.

A PNG file format should suffice and a transparent background is needed. I would like to keep the yarn ball and crochet hooks for the l’s within the signature.

Once I have my computer instead of my phone, I can give it a go. What specifically do you need? Image format, resolution, etc?

Oooh goodness I'm so glad you asked, I forgot to even mention those things.

Honestly I'm still learning about formats and things but I've been seeing that a vector file format or PNG would be best for what I'll be using it for.

I’m not sure the resolution but I guess the bigger size would better than the smaller in order for me to size it down to what I’ll need.

I do want to keep the crochet hooks and the yarn ball in the logo for sure!

SVG vector files have the advantage of infinite scalability and are better for making physical signs, but a PNG is fine for web posts.

Do you have a background image or pattern in mind, or do you want something transparent so you can layer it over other images whenever you want?

Okay great. Are PNG files also great for making labels? Like printing the logo out on a leather label?

I would prefer a transparent background. 👌🏽

I handle a lot of social media and event flyer creation stuff at the library, so I know just enough to be dangerous. We have a small library of logo images in color, black, and white for each branch so we can layer it over whatever we want. They are all high-resolution PNG files derived from a master SVG file our marketing director has somewhere.

Not really. However, I had an idea. Can you snap a photo of one of your own crochet hooks against a neutral background, like a white sheet of paper? Maybe a photo of one of your own yarn balls, too? I might be able to make something truly personalized using GIMP that way, and ensure you're clear of pesky intellectual properly nonsense. I can't find a good CC0/PD crochet hook image yet.

addendum: better yet, a photo with a contrasting color I can remove like pros do greenscreen might work even better.

I have quite a bit of stuff left over that I want to catch up with so I do not guarantee I'll be able to do anything, but in case I am able to I will post here to discuss the art!

That would be awesome if you could post your idea here. Sure, I’m willing to see other designs so using the graffiti lettering would be okay. I normally wouldn’t choose that style but I’m one to always give things a try before I knock them. 😉

Brilliant! I have some free days coming up and I'm meant to catch up with the many things I left on the wait, but in case I squeeze in some time to make this one I will try to make a couple of designs, maybe one with my graffiti style and one more simpler with the style going towards your old logo!

Thank you for your feedback and I'll try my best to squeeze in some time and get some stuff done, if I do not manage to do it I do apologise already! Life's so damn busy at times and I really feel bad when I want to do something and give my word out but then end up delaying and just feeling guilty and sorry for myself lol idk if you get this feeling lol I might be just a psycho 🤣🤣🤣

Oh goodness if anyone understands where you are coming from believe it's ME! I totally get it. Sometimes I get so bummed that I have a ton of ideas and a huge To Do list but never enough time to get to it all. So no apologies, if you have time great, if not no pressure or hard feelings because “this thing called life”. 😊😉

The only thing would be is I mainly do crochet work and that is what I’ll be marketing. The needles in the yarn ball you used are knitting needles and I would need crochet hooks like in the original design. Other than that I am so appreciative and taken away by what you have done. 😍

Welcome welcome and thank you. I've just joined HivePets community. Mebbe me and some other Dawgs can crunch some bones together. Cats...er, well, I've met them sure, but they're kinda different. Barge really respects them and insists that I do too - but I don't really get cats. Squirrels are something else tho' but I don't think any live in the HivePets community. If they did I'd have to chase 'em....can't help it ya know!

But yours is obviously a very valid point and I've just replaced thethe knitting needles with crochet hooks and left all else unchanged. So glad you like 'em - as I say, they didn't take long.
