Hola a todos. Una vez más yo por aquí para compartir parte de lo que hago cada día. Las manualidades son la vía de escape más próxima para lograr estar tranquila y ocupar mi mente en actividades que me gustan. Sigo aprendiendo un poquito de todo. Hoy voy a mostrarles cómo realicé unas lindas LIBÉLULAS tejidas, ya les he mostrado estas mismas figuras realizadas en tela y en mostacillas, ahora las tejí y me encantan como se ven. Se hacen fácil y rápido, solo hay que tener unas hebras de hilo disponibles y algunas cuentas.

I keep learning a little bit of everything. Today I am going to show you how I made some cute woven booklets, I have already shown you these same figures made in fabric and beads, now I wove them and I love the way they look. They are easy and quick to make, you just need to have some yarn available and some beads.
Empecé tejiendo una cadeneta de 16 puntos. Esta medida depende del tamaño que desees las aletas de la libélula, esta será la aleta larga.
I started by knitting a chain of 16 stitches. This measurement depends on the size you want the dragonfly's fins to be, this will be the long fin.
Luego tejí puntos altos en toda la cadena, al llegar al punto final realicé un aumento para girar, allí tejí 3pa en un mismo punto.
Then I knitted high stitches in the whole chain, when I reached the final stitch I made an increase to turn, there I knitted 3pa in the same stitch.
Continué tejiendo puntos altos hasta llegar al último punto, allí realicé los aumentos, 3pa en un mismo punto. Después tejí 1pd en el punto de inicio de la vuelta.
I continued to knit the high stitches until I reached the last stitch, there I knit the increases, 3pa in the same stitch. Then I knit 1pd in the starting stitch of the row.
Esta hebra sobrante se debe esconder muy bien, para ello usé la aguja lanera.
This excess yarn must be hidden very well, for this I used the wool needle.
Realicé la otra aleta empezando con 12 puntos cadenas y siguiendo los mismos pasos para la aleta más larga. También escondí la hebra cuidadosamente.
I cast on the other flap starting with 12 chain stitches and following the same steps for the longer flap. I also hid the strand carefully.
Ahora corresponde realizar la parte mágica, armar para formar la figura de libélula que anhelamos ver. Para ello vamos a usar algunas perlas; una mediana y tres pequeñas. Estas pueden ser al gusto de quién las haga, también se puede usar otro tipo de cuentas. Es más rápido si usamos la aguja lanera u otra con la que podamos pasar el hilo por las perlas y después por el tejido.
Now it is time to do the magic part, to assemble to form the dragonfly figure that we wish to see. For this we are going to use some beads; one medium and three small ones. These can be to the taste of whoever makes them, you can also use other types of beads. It is faster if we use the wool needle or another needle with which we can pass the thread through the beads and then through the fabric.
- Tomamos una hebra de hilo larga.
- Unimos a la argolla del llavero haciendo un nudo alondra.
- Pasamos por las dos hebras la perla mediana.
- Pasamos la aleta más grande.
- Pasamos la aleta más pequeña.
- Pasamos las tres perlas pequeñas.
- Hacemos presión para dar forma a las aletas y luego hacemos un nudo simple para asegurar todas partes.
- We take a long strand of thread.
- We join to the ring of the key ring making a lark's knot.
- We pass through the two strands the medium pearl.
- We pass the larger fin.
- We pass the smallest fin.
- We pass the three small beads.
- We make pressure to give form to the fins and then we make a simple knot to secure all parts.
Este es el resultado. Como pueden ver luce muy bonita. Las libélulas tejidas pueden ser del color queramos, incluso usando hilo matizado o estampado también se verían muy bien. Consideren realizarlas para complementar algún accesorio, como colgante de cartera, bolso o llavero.
This is the result. As you can see it looks very nice. The woven dragonflies can be any color we want, even using shaded or patterned yarn would also look great. Consider making them to complement an accessory, such as a purse pendant, purse or keychain.

En estos días han entrado a la casa muchos insectos. Ninguno con esta forma. La lluvia ocasiona que estos animales vuelen hasta nuestros hogares en busca de refugio y de luz. Algunas habitaciones que siempre tengo alumbradas amanecen full de palometas, bachacos culones de esos que vuelan (son enormes) y alguna que otra plaga o zancudo. Sin embargo libélulas no he visto.
In these days many insects have entered the house. None with this shape. The rain causes these animals to fly to our homes in search of shelter and light. Some rooms that I always have lighted are full of pigeons, bachacos culones of those that fly (they are enormous) and some other pest or mosquito. However, I have not seen dragonflies.
