Con el grito ¡Es tiempo de reciclar hivers! nos vuelve a invitar nuestra amiga @Jennyzer para que juntos participemos de la iniciativa CREATIVE RECYCLING CHALLENGE #16 || IT'S TIME TO RECYCLE!. Para mí es un enorme placer estar aquí cada vez que escucho el llamado porque en verdad me encanta el tema y me divierto creando. No sé si me entienden, es como cuando invitas a una amiga a tomar un café con leche a las 4 de la tarde y ella llega con una torta esponjosa para compartir.
Otros dirían que me puedo sentir como pez en el agua porque hago de todo, pero la verdad es que me gusta crear, buscar ideas, ampliarlas y mejor se siente cuando es algo reciclado.
Una repisa para practicar
Hoy quiero mostrarles esta hermosa repisa elaborada con cartón, la verdad fue un experimento para ver si la podía hacer, no crean que me las se todas; pero hay un dicho que dice que dañando también se aprende y hoy puedo decir ¡Misión cumplida! si pude y la verdad no fue tan difícil.
Ahora que ya tengo el conocimiento quiero elaborarla más grande y de color rosa pastel para mi sobrina preciosa Gabriela de 5 años quien vive en Táchira; allá pienso llevar los materiales y trabajar esta repisa para decorar su habitación. Los que viven en Venezuela saben que de Caracas al Táchira es bastante lejos y llevar cosas así no es conveniente, así que esta iniciativa me sirvió para practicar y ampliar mi idea.
Manos a la obra
Los materiales que utilicé fueron:
Cartón
Silicón
Tijeras
Cúter
Pinturas al frio
Pincel
De acuerdo al tamaño del cartón hice un dibujo para luego cortar dos tiras largas de 6 centímetros de ancho que me dieran la forma de lado y lado, poco a poco lo fui amoldando con mis manos hasta realizar la forma. Luego volví a marcar la forma del corazón y pegue con silicón.
También recorté varios trozos de distintos tamaños pero del mismo ancho de las demás es decir 6 centímetros. Así fui avanzando y armando cada espacio. Luego pintamos con 2 o 3 capas de pintura al frio.
Creo que la pintura ayuda a tapar bastante el cartón, también me gustaría para la próxima hacerlo de forma de nube o de casita y reforzar las piezas pegando doble cartón. Otra recomendación que les puedo dar es tener una buena tijera que te ayude a recortar bien, la verdad es que la mía ya está pidiendo cambio.
Como ven es muy bonita; la pinté de este color ya que de tantas manualidades que hice en Halloween me había quedado baste pintura naranja y guardé la rosada para lo que les dije de mi sobrina. Me gustaría que si tienen algún consejo o idea me la hagan llegar, tal vez me ayude para no cometer tantos errores.

For me it's a huge pleasure to be here every time I hear the call because I really love the theme and I have fun creating. I don't know if you know what I mean, it's like when you invite a friend over for a latte at 4 o'clock in the afternoon and she arrives with a fluffy cake to share.
Others would say that I can feel like a fish in water because I do everything, but the truth is that I like to create, look for ideas, expand them and it feels better when it's something recycled.
A shelf to practice on
Today I want to show you this beautiful shelf made with cardboard, the truth was an experiment to see if I could do it, do not think I know them all; but there is a saying that says that damaging also learns and today I can say Mission accomplished! if I could and the truth was not so difficult.
Now that I have the knowledge I want to make it bigger and in a pastel pink color for my beautiful niece Gabriela, 5 years old, who lives in Táchira; there I plan to take the materials and work this shelf to decorate her room. Those who live in Venezuela know that from Caracas to Táchira is quite far and carrying things like this is not convenient, so this initiative helped me to practice and expand my idea.
Hands to work
The materials I used were:
Cardboard
Silicone
Scissors
Cutter
Cold paints
Brush
According to the size of the cardboard I made a drawing and then cut two long strips of 6 centimeters wide to give me the shape of side and side, little by little I was molding it with my hands until I made the shape. Then I marked the shape of the heart and glued it with silicone.
I also cut several pieces of different sizes but of the same width as the others, that is to say 6 centimeters. In this way I went forward and assembled each space. Then we painted with 2 or 3 coats of cold paint.
I think the paint helps to cover the cardboard quite a bit, I would also like to make it into a cloud or house shape for the next one and reinforce the pieces by gluing double cardboard. Another recommendation I can give you is to have a good scissors to help you cut well, the truth is that mine is already asking for a change.
As you can see it is very pretty; I painted it in this color because I had enough orange paint left from so many crafts I did on Halloween and I saved the pink for what I told you about my niece. If you have any advice or ideas, please let me know, maybe it will help me not to make so many mistakes.
