Restaura tu libreta vieja

Restore your old notebook

Some time ago I was given a small corporate notebook from a famous telecommunications company, never to use and over the years, its covers that were of a very weak a,arterial deteriorated, then I decided to restore them using recycled material, mainly a pizza box made of cardboard.

To get the exact size of the lids, I used the same notebook as a mold and so I got a perfect line.

Then I took the scissors and trimmed very carefully following the guide lines.

Then I applied the glue, initially on the edge and then in the center on both sides. I used liquid silicone because it was what I had at the time.

Finally glued the covers that would reinforce the notebook, you can pass a nail file along the edges in case it is necessary to eliminate any imperfection.
On the main cover I decided to customize a little by making the logo of HIVEBLOG and a traffic light, the latter to remember the exercise described below.

Recently in a training I had the opportunity to use a tool called The Learning Traffic Light, which I found very interesting and useful, besides that in my opinion it can be applied in any personal aspect.

It is about asking questions that will allow you to reflect on three important scenarios in which you currently focus your work or occupation.

These questions are:
What Should I Know?
What Should I Do?
What Should I Transform or Improve?

The exercise should lead you to answer, sincerely making a self-evaluation. Where we make an analogy with our work that will be the vehicle and the questions that would be the traffic lights,
Red
To stop and identify what we have not yet been able to overcome, some tool, knowledge or competence that we have not yet developed.
Yellow
To identify what we still need to work on or improve, while looking for the way to do it.
Green
Determine what I can already do fluently, what I have learned so that I can move forward.
I invite you to do this exercise, maybe apply it to hiveblog, what should I know about hive, what should I improve as a hive, what should I do more for the platform?
