MAKING FOR XMAS
So this year i am going to make little xmas canvas cards. Give them to people quite early so they can hang them in their shops on counters... or generally hang them up to add a little xmas cheer.
then at Christmas you can just pull out your Christmas themed art and you are good to go year after year... Xmas cards go to waste... or just end up at day care for "cut and stick" which is still really wasteful fun... but wasteful ..
Here are a couple of the testers..
will have to do some sketches and figure out what i want to do... they do need to be fairly quick... don't want to be spending much more than and hour or two on them... (Most of the paintings down below are less than 1 - 2 hours)
Supplies
Basically i have all my little canvas squares (4 inches) from my daily paintings and i am going to create simple little designs on lots of these.
I paint in acrylic paints, "Atelier Interactive Artist paint" normally, or other fairly good quality paint. I'm a bit of a paint nerd and i just LOVE cool pigments (not blends) i mean i like knowing pigments and stuff. I used to paint / interested in Medieval Art and painting techniques so i learnt a lot about oil paints and pigments.
I just don't have time these days for oils.
Anyway i hope other people are doing christmas art...
WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR XMAS ART?
shoot me a photo comment if you like. Id love to see what you are doing :-)
Thanks all
