Hello, gamers! I'm very excited about this post, and it's because just yesterday I started to take a look at this Resident Evil and my head exploded. The first thing I have to say is that I haven't even seen gameplays of this game, and for some reason, I was bored by the simple start and didn't keep watching, I didn't get past the first cinematic, so I had no idea what the game was about.
¡Hola, gamers! Estoy muy entusiasmada por este post, y es que nada menos ayer me puse a echarle un vistazo a este Resident Evil y me explotó la cabeza. Lo primero que tengo que decir es que de este juego no he visto ni siquiera gameplays, y es que por algún motivo, me aburría el simple inicio y no seguía mirando, no pasaba de la primera cinemática, así que no tenía ni idea de que va el juego.
However, I remembered that a Remake of it had been released some time ago, and I thought maybe I should try it (sometimes it happens that watching a gameplay is boring but playing the game is not) so I decided to give it a try. Knowing this, join me in my discovery.
Sin embargo, recordé que había salido un Remake de este hace tiempo, y pensé que quizá debería probarlo (a veces sucede que ver un gameplay aburre, pero jugar el juego no) así que decidí darle una oportunidad. Sabiendo esto, acompáñenme en mi descubrimiento.
The first thing I have to say is that the game gives you the option to play as in the original game, tank type controls and a narrower screen like in those times, however I decided to play with the alternative control and the wide screen because, since it is a remake, I want to play it with the new features that the remake brings.
Lo primero que tengo que decir es que el juego te da la opción de jugar como en el juego original, controles tipo tanque y una pantalla más angosta como por aquellas épocas, sin embargo decidí jugar con el control alternativo y la pantalla amplia porque ya que es un remake, pues quiero jugarlo con lo nuevo que nos trae el remake.
It all starts on the Ecliptic Express, which is passing through the Raccon forest, when suddenly a strange man appears in the mountains and this happens 😅
Todo empieza en el Ecliptic Express, el cuál está atravesando el bosque de Raccon, cuando de repente aparece en las montañas un hombre raro y pasa esto 😅
Apparently the guy controls some kind of super nasty leeches, they enter the train and attack all the passengers (and apparently the engineer had time to stop the train, you'll see why 😂)
Al parecer el tipo controla una especie de sanguijuelas super asquerosas, estas entran al tren y atacan a todos los pasajeros (y al parecer al maquinista le dio tiempo de detener el tren, ya verán porqué 😂)
Now another scene takes place and we see the S.T.A.R.S. Bravo team aboard a helicopter as they are assigned to investigate a series of strange murders in the Arklay Mountains, however, the helicopter suffers a malfunction and crashes.
Ahora transcurre otra escena y vemos al equipo Bravo de los S.T.A.R.S a bordo de un helicóptero, ya que han sido asignados a investigar una serie de extraños asesinatos en las montañas Arklay, sin embargo, el helicóptero sufre un desperfecto y termina cayendo.
At least all the officers survive and Enrico, the head of the unit, instructs them all to investigate.
Al menos todos los oficiales sobreviven y Enrico, el jefe de la unidad, les da instrucciones a todos de investigar.
The team discovers an overturned police car with the two officers on board dead. Rebecca (the youngest member of the unit and our protagonist) finds a transfer order for a criminal named Billy Coen. Enrico decides to split up the unit in search of the convict and also to investigate the woods a little.
Es así como el equipo descubre a pocos metros de ellos un auto de la policía volcado con los dos oficiales a bordo, muertos. Rebecca (la menor de la unidad y nuestra protagonista) encuentra una orden de traslado para un criminal llamado Billy Coen. Enrico decide dividir a la unidad en búsqueda del reo y además investigar un poco el bosque.
And that's when little Rebecca finds the Ecliptic Express.
Y es cuando la pequeña Rebecca encuentra el Ecliptic Express.
As soon as I entered, there was a closed door and when I went through the next door, a cinematic was activated. Rebecca started asking if anyone was there because she heard voices, but it was a radio.
Nada más entrar, había una puerta cerrada y cuando entré por la siguiente, se activó una cinemática. Rebecca empezó a preguntar si había alguien ahí porque oyó voces, pero se trataba de una radio.
As she bent down to pick it up and investigate, one of the passengers she thought was dead, got up and attacked her, but what's worse, when Rebecca dodged it, there turned out to be two others coming down the aisle: they were zombies.
Cuando se agachó para tomarla e investigar un poco, uno de los pasajeros que creyó muerto, se levantó y la atacó, pero lo que es peor, cuando Rebecca lo esquivó, resultó haber otros dos acercándose por el pasillo: eran zombies.
This is where the gameplay continue, so I finished the first one and moved forward to have more space to finish off the other two without them getting too close. Normally in these games I try to avoid them, but being in a train carriage it's impossible, so it's better to clear the area.
Aquí se retoma el gameplay, así que acabé con el primero y avancé para tener más espacio y poder acabar con los otros dos sin que se me acercaran demasiado. Normalmente en estos juegos suelo intentar evadirlos, pero estando en un vagón de tren es imposible, así que es mejor limpiar la zona.
I moved down the corridor to a new area, here there were two rooms, so I decided to enter the first one where, I found the first resources of the game.
Avancé por el pasillo hacia una nueva zona, aquí había dos habitaciones, así que decidí entrar en la primera dónde me encontré con los primeros recursos del juego.
I opened the inventory and I must say that I like it, it's minimalist and quite intuitive, so it's not complicated to use, but I did find it very small, it has very few slots and that worried me at first.
Abrí el inventario y debo decir que me gusta, es minimalista y bastante intuitivo, así que no es complicado de usar. pero sí me pareció muy pequeño, tiene muy pocos slots y eso me preocupó en un principio.
I also noticed that if we change Rebecca's medical bag for another one, we can change her clothes, I was surprised because normally this is a reward for finishing the game in other Resident Evil games, but I think it curious. I don't know if there will be additions after finishing the game, maybe more outfits, a mercenary mode or something like that, but we'll see, for now these are the outfits we have:
También noté que si cambiamos el maletín médico de Rebecca por otro, podemos cambiarla de ropa, me sorprendió porque normalmente esto es una recompensa por terminar el juego en otros Resident Evil, pero me pareció curioso. No sé si habrá añadidos al terminar el juego, quizá más trajes, un modo mercenarios o algo así, pero ya veremos, por ahora estos son los trajes que tenemos:
Then I left that room and went into the one next to it and it turned out to be the safe room, but... I panicked 😃😅🙂 🙃😐☹️😲😰😨😱😖 WHERE IS THE FUCKING STORAGE CHEST? WHERE?
Después salí de esa habitación y entré en la que estaba al lado que resultó ser la sala seguram pero... entre en pánico 😃😅🙂🙃😐☹️😲😰😨😱😖 ¿DONDE ESTÁ EL JODIDO BAÚL? ¿EN DÓNDE?
Then I remembered I had heard of a Resident that didn't have storage chest, so after associate the facts, I realised it was this 🙂🙃😫 but hey... in the face of adversity this Horror Queen keeps on. Go!
Después recordé que había oído de un Resident que no tenía baúles y asociando los hechos, me di cuenta de que era este 🙂🙃😫 pero bueno... ante las adversidades esta Reina del Horror sigue adelante. ¡Fighting!
By the way, this is the design of the map, I think it's the most beautiful of the Resident Evil maps (although I like the Village one better) so this will be the second best in Bethy Jade's ranking 😍.
Por cierto, este que ven es el diseño del mapa, me parece que es el más bonito de los Resident Evil (aunque el de Village me gusta más, la verdad) entonces este será el segundo mejor en el ranking de Bethy Jade 😍
As I was going through this carriage, I found a corpse and it had a key which was the key to the restaurant, which was at the other end of the train.
avanzando por este vagón, encontré un cadáver y este tenía una llave que era la del restaurante, el cuál estaba en la otra punta del tren.
And as Rebecca grabbed the key, Billy Coen appeared, yes, the escaped convict, and to top it all off, he pointed a gun at us 😱😖.
Y mientras Rebecca tomaba la llave, apareció Billy Coen, sí, el reo que había escapado y para colmo nos apuntó con un arma 😱😖
However, Billy, seeing that she was a cop, decided to turn around and walk away from her, Rebecca then blurted out the most ridiculous phrase "you're under arrest" and Rebecca is not at all intimidating, and in fact it is hard to believe that she is a member of an elite team and even more so when she is 18 years old. Unsurprisingly, Billy ignores her and continues on his way.
Sin embargo, Billy, al ver que era policía, decidió dar media vuelta y alejarse de mí, entonces Rebecca soltó la frase más ridícula "quedas arrestado" y es que Rebecca no intimida en lo absoluto y de hecho cuesta creer que sea miembro de un equipo de élite, y más aún teniendo 18 años. Como era de esperarse, Billy la ignora y sigue su camino.
Almost immediately we heard the sound of glass breaking and found one of our companions badly wounded, who warned us (a bit late) about zombies, but also told us about monsters and oh surprise! a very ugly dog came through the window.
Casi inmediatamente oímos un ruido de cristales rompiéndose y encontramos muy malherido a uno de nuestros compañeros, quien nos advirtió (un poco tarde) de los zombies, pero también nos habló de monstruos y ¡oh! sorpresa, entró un perro muy feo por la ventana.
