Friends are a fundamental part of our lives, since childhood we cultivate friendships that accompany us in the race of life, when we start a new job or move to a new city we also meet people who become part of our family or as we say in Venezuela the sisters and brothers that life and God give us and become very important people for us, to such an extent that we consider them family even if we do not carry the same blood.
Today I want to share with you how I repaired a jumpsuit or sports pants for a friend who loves going to the beach, the pants broke with a wire in one of the legs, she sewed it by hand but did not like the result, one day I went to visit her with a mutual friend and she told us that her favorite pants were broken and asked me if I could do something to cover the detail, I told her to give it to me and at home I would see what idea I could come up with to fix it, we talked for a while with her and her mom who we appreciate very much and in the conversation she talked about how much she likes the beach and how she misses it, we said goodbye and at home I looked for the scraps of fabric I had and I found some pink and gray polar blanket that had been left over from a previous project.
I called her and told her that I had scraps of gray and pink fabric, and with that I could cut a dolphin and a starfish and repair her monkey, very happy she told me it was great because she loves marine motifs, so I got down to work.

Los amigos son parte fundamental de nuestras vidas, desde la infancia cultivamos relaciones de amistad que nos acompañan en la carrera de la vida, cuando iniciamos un nuevo empleo o nos mudamos de ciudad también conocemos personas que pasan a ser parte de nuestra familia o como decimos en Venezuela las hermanas y hermanos que la vida y Dios nos regalan y se convierten en personas muy importantes para nosotros, a tal punto que las consideramos familia aunque no llevemos la misma sangre.
El día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes como reparé un mono o pantalón deportivo para una amiga que adora ir a la playa, el pantalón se le rompió con un alambre en una de las piernas, ella lo cosió a mano pero no le gustó el resultado, un día fui a visitarla con una amiga en común y nos contó que su pantalón favorito estaba roto además me preguntó si podía hacer algo para taparle el detalle, le dije que me lo diera y en mi casa vería que idea se me podía ocurrir para arreglarlo, conversamos un rato con ella y su mamá a la cual apreciamos mucho y en la conversación ella habló de lo mucho que le gusta la playa y como la extraña, nos despedimos y ya en casa busqué en los retazos de tela que colores tenía y encontré un poco de manta polar rosada y gris que habían quedado de un proyecto anterior.
La llamé y le comenté que tenia retazos de tela gris y rosada, y con eso podía cortar un delfín y una estrella de mar y reparar su mono, muy contenta me dijo que estaba genial porque le encantan los motivos marinos, así que me puse manos a la obra.

Así reparé el mono de amiga, la cual esta muy contenta porque puede usarlo nuevamente. No pude tomarle fotos a ella con su nuevo diseño, porque no tenía la cámara en ese momento.
