Today is a special day for me and my friends. After months of caring for broilers, we finally arrived at the moment we had been waiting for. First harvest of first stage broiler chickens. Early in the morning, my friends and I gathered at the farm full of enthusiasm and enthusiasm. There is nothing more exciting than seeing the results of our hard work so far.
Initial Preparation
We started the day with thorough preparation. A white Isuzu truck is ready in front of the coop, waiting to be filled with chickens ready to be harvested. I was with friends, including Bahri, from and other friends I can't possibly mention one by one. Move immediately to prepare everything. Bahri with logistics management expertise, ensures that all chicken transport boxes are in good condition and ready to use.
Harvest Process
The harvest process begins by moving the chickens from the cage to the transport box. Wari, who was experienced in this matter, led the team in moving the chickens, he deftly caught the chickens and placed them in the box. Bahri and I, helping on the other hand, ensure that the chickens are not stressed and that their health is maintained during the moving process.
Inside the cage, we could feel a warm and humid atmosphere. Bright lights hung above us, providing enough light to work safely. We continued to move quickly but carefully, taking care that no chickens were hurt. The small children around here also watched curiously from the cage door.
Transport and Sorting
After all the chickens were successfully loaded into the transport box, our Isuzu truck began to be filled. Wari and I carefully moved the boxes into the truck. With good coordination, all boxes were successfully entered without any significant problems. Once the truck is full, we move to the Sorting area outside the pen.
At the sorting place Bahri leads a team to check each chicken. We separate chickens based on weight and quality. This is a very important stage because it determines the selling value later. Using accurate scales, we ensure each chicken is placed in the correct group.
After all the processes were finished, we sat down for a moment to rest. Under the shade of a shady coconut tree we enjoyed lunch with feelings of satisfaction and pride filling our hearts, there is nothing happier than seeing the results of our hard work paying off.
While enjoying the food, we chatted about the challenges and difficulties we faced during the process of raising chickens, from feed problems to unpredictable weather. We have been through everything together, today all that hard work feels very meaningful.
Future plan
After taking a break, we started planning the next stage.We agreed to continue improving the quality of maintenance and looking for ways to increase production. Bahri, proposed several changes in the feeding system that could increase efficiency, while Wari provided ideas on how to improve ventilation in the pen.
We also plan to expand the market with satisfactory harvest results, we are sure to attract more customers. Managers, with a wide network of contacts, will help us establish relationships with more merchants and restaurants.
Today with clear evidence of hard work and teamwork. This first harvest is not just the results we got. It is also about the results we went through together, every step and every challenge and every small success is part of our big story.
I feel very lucky to have such great friends on this team. Together we have achieved something extraordinary. Hopefully in the future we can continue to progress and achieve even more. Today is the beginning of our long journey and I am sure, with strong enthusiasm and cooperation, we can reach the pinnacle of success in this broiler farming business.
