Tomyam Seafood
Do you ever eat tomyam? I'm sure many people have already been eating tom yam or heard about the tomyam. Tomyam is a soup dish of Thailand that is very famous and popular in the world. I can guarantee, you could find Tomyam in almost all the Asian restaurants that exist in your country.
Tomyam has the taste of sour and spicy, which is derived from the herbs and spices used. Broth tom yam is made from fresh ingredients such as lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, galangal, lime juice, fish sauce, and chili powder. The freshness of the herbs and spices used to make tom yam can warm the body, especially the tom yam is eaten during the rainy season. Tomyam is also popular in Indonesia, the first may be due to the influence of culture and the distance between Indonesia and Thailand is still one area of Southeast Asia. Ingredients:
- 200 gr of Squid
- 200 gr Shrimp
- 100 gr of fish balls
- 150 gr fillet fish
- 50 gr Corn
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 5 cloves shallots
- 1 clove of onion
- 5 pcs red Chili
- 7 pcs cayenne pepper
- Pasta chili
- Orange leaves
- Lemongrass
- Ginger
- Kecombrang
- Galangal
- 1 pcs Thamarind (soak with water)
- 3 pcs Candlenut
- 50 ml of fresh milk
- Salt
- 1 tsp oyster Sauce
- Water
- Oil for frying
How to cook tomyam seafood:
- Pure red chilli, candlenut, shallots and garlic.
- Heat the oil on medium heat, then add the shrimp and cook for a minute and set aside. With the same oil, saute the herbs that have been smoothed.
- Add a paste of chilli and fresh milk. Sauté until fragrant.
- Then add lemon grass, lime leaves, kecombrang and cayenne red. Add a little water and then up to the average.
- Add the onion, corn, shrimp, fish balls and fish fillets. Give a little bit of lemon juice and thamarind to add a fresh sour taste.
- Add seasoning, oyster sauce, salt and sugar. The correction of taste.
- Boil for 10 minutes, tomyam seafood ready to serve.
It feels complete when eating tomyam seafood with a plate of rice.
