Hello Everyone.
Currently in our place just finished the planting season. Almost all the people here are farmers who work in the fields. This season seems to be very lucky because the whims of rainfall don't happen often. After the planting period, we have to pay attention to the condition of the rice plants and soil elements. because each plant is very dependent on macronutrients so that the plant can have an optimal growth period and produce an abundant harvest. I have a farm area of 5000 meters and currently, the rice plants are 40 days after planting.
Urea (which supplies 46% nitrogen) is a top dressing fertilizer that should be applied to crops as needed. For rice, it can be applied at 3-4 weeks after transplanting and repeated after 7-8 weeks of transplanting. Source
When the rice plants are 40 days old after planting, it is very important to apply Urea fertilizer so that the growth and development of the plants grow optimally and this is the peak time for topdressing urea. The reason why you should use urea fertilizer for rice plants is to fulfill the availability of nutrients in the soil because this is very necessary for additional nutrients. Today I have implemented this method so that rice plants stimulate and accelerate growth such as roots, plant stems and rice leaves getting healthier.
Even though you have carried out the process of applying fertilizer, there are other problems that must be considered immediately, namely pest attacks. When the rice is 30 to 40 days old, it is very likely that insects will come and cause the rice plants to wither and rot. I deliberately uprooted several rice plants to ensure the shape of the leaves and roots. I found a big problem with rice leaves. rice leaves turn yellow and root growth is very slow. I have to take action as soon as possible for insect spraying. I hope the rice plants can grow well and produce a lot of crops.
